Reliable, easy to access, transparent, ethical, green

Triodos has been reliable, with an easy to use banking app and good communications around what they do with the money invested in them. Knowingy money is going to build a greener future rather than destroy it makes a real difference and is well with the £3 per month. If you want a current account with a green, ethical bank, Triodos is the one to go for. Reviewed on: 5th March 2026

Excellent customer support and a clear conscience!

Triodos provides very good customer support and its online banking app works simply and efficiently. Knowing that I'm not contributing to the bad actors in this world via my bank account is reassuring. Reviewed on: 4th March 2026

Really happy with decision to switch

Finally getting around to leaving a review after meaning to do so for a really long time. Made the switch from one of the main high street banks to Triodos around 6 years ago and couldn't be happier with the decision. I'm a firm believer that where we choose to bank and hold our investments/savings etc. is one of the biggest ways we can have a positive impact on issues like climate change. Knowing that every penny of my money isn't contributing to the fossil fuel industry and is instead supporting projects focusing on renewable energy, wildlife restoration etc. is a really good feeling, especially in current times when its hard to feel empowered to really change things/challenge a lot of the destruction going on around us. I've also always received excellent customer service from the Triodos team - always easy to speak to someone over the phone and colleagues have often gone above and beyond to take on my enquiry/issue as their own and to proactively update me which I've really appreciated and definitely isn't always the case with customer support elsewhere. If you're considering switching to a bank whose values align more with the issues you care about and where your money is doing good rather than harm I'd say go for it with Triodos. Strong ethical values

I resisted using the app as I was concerned about security however having now transferred over Ive been finding it simple and fast to use. However the main reason I use Tridos is that its ethical approach is confirmed by Ethical consumer magazine. Reviewed on: 2nd March 2026

Ethical banking made easy.

The right choice

I switched the Triodos around 5 years ago whilst looking for a more ethical banks. I have been so pleased with my choice, the customer service has been excellent, I have always managed to speak to someone. They are completely transparent and enable me to feel confident in the way I store my money. I would highly recommend Triodos Bank, for current, savings and joint accounts. Ethical and reliable, no compromises

This is my third year with a Triodos current account, and it's been excellent. The app and website are easy to use and extremely reliable, and on the rare occasions I've needed to contact customer service I've got through to a helpful human quickly and without fuss.
