They accepted me for a 20 month interest free credit card through snoop app. Also got a nice 20£ voucher for applying through snoop.The app is identical with HSBC app...which is not a bad thing. Absolutely hopeless.

Absolutely hopeless. I stopped using the card for several months as their support although polite is useless. I recently tried to log on and the online help does not help as is the case with their helpline. The unfortunate operator was simply reading from scrpts and had no technical knowledge whatsoever. Credit Card Application Nightmare

This morning, I spent 45 minutes attempting to speak to an advisor at MandS Bank on the following numbers without success: 0800 997 996 0345 600 5860 Whilst I am able to connect to their telephone automated system, each option ultimately requests that I enter my digital banking details? If I was an existing client I would but as a potential customer, it is impossible. I have gone as far as trying to locate an email address and/or on-line form. Such actions have also proven fruitless. Has the whole business world decided that customer, indeed, potential business means nothing these days? All I want to know is whether a Credit Card Plus application has an outcome? Their acknowledgement email (yes they used email) stated that it would take up to 5 working days for an outcome. It has been 6 working days and I really would like to know the outcome of my application at this time. Does anyone know how to make contact or should I jump on a bike and search for ET. It's incredibly difficult to service the account.

It's incredibly difficult to service the account. A small amount can be done on the app, most of it needs a login on the website, and it's not clear how to find anything. I tried to amend my direct debit a month or two after opening the account and was unable to do it. I've just mananged to locate the online form which has required me to download my recent statements and submit a significant amount of information, in order to change the direct debit from the minimum to a fixed amount. Why on earth is this made so difficult? On all other credit cards that I've ever had, this can be amended with a couple of clicks on the website. Enormously frustrating. Reviewed on: 9th August 2024

I have been a long standing customer of m&s,and have used their credit card for most transactions.. My credit card was damaged,and I needed a replacement. That is when the trouble began.. My first phone call enabled me to order a new card.. I phoned a week later to be told that there were delays. A week later when I phoned, I was told that the card had not been ordered. A week later it arrived, and the pin arrived. However there was no PIN number in the little box, although l placed it on white paper. I phoned again,and needless to say no PIN number appeared even when scratched with a coin, and held up to the light. I now have to wait another 5 working days for PIN number to appear.
