M&S home insurance are backed by Aviva. God forbid you ever have to make a claim with these idiots because they will run you ragged... M&S home insurance are backed by Aviva. God forbid you ever have to make a claim with these idiots because they will run you ragged with repeated requests for yet more information every time you give them what they want. I had to settle for 25% of the amount claimed after my shower sprung a leak, & caused water damage throughout the house. I will avoid Aviva for ever now and I thoroughly recommend that you do too!     Very poor service

    No fault accident in June 2025.Still not sorted out and I am still paying an excessive amount for my car and wife’s car insurance.Case unresolved... Still about £300 out of pocket. Very little feedback from M&S about what the case only stalling when I finally get through to speak to someone.They are not operating as a broker should by looking after customers.     M&S loans do hard check 1st

    Loan companies do soft check prior rather than hard credit check. M&S will do hard check and leave mark on your credit score.

    Minimum £150 spend on currency not mentioned

    I wanted to buy 130usd on line and collect at local branch -when I entered the amount response was minimum 200usd . I queried at... It was only then that I was informed there is a minimum £150 spend . It would be do easy for M&S to put this on their first page , rather than telling customers it is ‘fuss free’ .     Very Disappointed. Would Not Recommend I ordered Singapore Dollars and Indonesian Rupiah online through the M&S preferential rate service a week before my trip. I... Very Disappointed. Would Not Recommend I ordered Singapore Dollars and Indonesian Rupiah online through the M&S preferential rate service a week before my trip. I received a confirmation email with the date, time, and specific store location for collection. When I arrived at the store, the manager informed me they did not have the currency. Rather than offering a solution, I was told I’d have to check other stores myself to find it, incredibly unhelpful and unacceptable given I had a confirmed order. As a result, I had to travel abroad without any local currency, which caused unnecessary stress at the start of my trip. To make matters worse, I submitted a formal complaint, and M&S have yet to respond. This lack of accountability and poor customer service was very disappointing. Based on this experience, I would NOT recommend using M&S for currency exchange. Read more Read less
