Mortgage for Expats

In 2020 Marsden were one of the few UK lenders willing to offer mortgages to Expats, who were looking to re-purchase a home in the UK (which became a necessity post Brexit). Rates were competitive and lending criteria was sensible. Reviewed on: 3rd February 2025

Nice people to do business with

The Marsden are extremely transparent in their business dealings. Their communication is excellent and very easy to understand. If only other companies played by the same rules ! Reviewed on: 14th October 2022

Avoid like the plague

Made me an offer, which I accepted 3 months ago then when they transferred me to my new mortgage they increased the rate without communicating it to me. Reviewed on: 3rd October 2022

Marsden Building Society Branch Review

It would be good to have online web access for mortgage only accounts. Plus it would be helpful to have more regular mortgage statements. Annual statements are not convenient, monthly (online) would be better, thanks. Reviewed on: 30th April 2022
