Incompetent employees within the company.

My policy was cancelled without any further notice whatsoever, even though my payments were up to date. I receive an email on the day that my insurance was cancelled. Which was pathetic and unprofessional way to handle such situations . Anyways, I rang them straightaway to find out the reason for cancelling my policy and after a thorough investigation, it confirmed that error was made by one of their employees who did not update their system. Which I was advised to wait between 24 and 48 hours for the policy to be reinstated. I waited for 72 hours and no phone call was made therefore I decided to ring them again and ask them to explain why the delay in reinstating the policy and provide a valid reason for doing so. However, the unbelievable happened, this particular customer service team member disconnected the phone call; as she didn’t have any explanation to my questions; on why is it taking long to reinstate my policy and why was it cancelled in the first place without a thorough investigation? Adding to this, I even asked to speak to a manager but she went ahead and disconnected the call. Not only am I frustrated but also very angry to the fact that I had to face a lot of inconveniences for the past few days in arranging taxis for my children school runs, especially when they attend different schools. I was also forced to catch a train to Leicester with husband and children, to visit my elderly mother in law who was hospitalised, including taxi rides to hospital from train station; all this occurred due to someone else’s mistake and yet do not want to own up to it which is the saddest part of it all! Very unprofessional, no ethics and decency at all! There was no apologies at all, yet the employee had the decency to disconnect the phone call because she didn’t have answers to my questions. Furthermore, according to another customer service team member the “system defaults itself if there was an error”. What a joke! Nevertheless, my argument is; the system will not default itself unless they were not updated in the first place! It’s a simple logic! Therefore, to my conclusion, so far this is the worst company to have insurance with, employees lack empathy and are not skilled enough, including the management teams. The whole company is sham! I wouldn’t even give one star but was required to enable carry on with my review. Definitely not worth it! Would definitely not recommend at all! To all those whom have experienced this let’s all get together and name and shame this so called company. Reviewed on: 7th October 2019

Cancel insurance

DO NOT GO NEAR THIS INSURANCE THEY HAVE JUST CANCELLED MY DAUGHTERS INSURANCE 2 DAYS AFTER TAKING 330 QUID TO TOP UP HER MILES APPARENTLY FOR SPEEDING THRY ARE CHEEP INITIALLY BUT ID SAY PAY A BIT EXTRA AND GET INSURANCE FROM A BETTER COMPANY THEY HAVE WAITED TILL SHE IS MORE THAN HALF WAY THROUGH IT SO NOT GETTING ANY MONEY BACK CAN NOT STATE THIS ENOUGH DO NOT GO NEAR MORE THAN Reviewed on: 24th September 2019

Horrible Insurance

HORRENDOUS

horrendous company, missed payment which I had no notice of no email phone call or letter to say the direct debit had not gone through. Called up to ask a question about something today to find my policy had been cancelled on the 12th with no warning, I received other general letters in between this time from smart wheels but no warning of policy being cancelled. When speaking to someone I checked my Junk to find an email on there well actually several emails all on the same day the 15th to confirm cancellation not warning of cancellation to tell me they already had cancelled it. no other correspondence. I asked if I can make the payment as I wasn't aware of it not going through and they said no sorry its already cancelled... maybe I should have read reviews as this is not the first time (cancellation with no warning) by the sounds of it especially to young drivers they know who to target.. I am already in contact with the ombudsman they wont be getting away with this scam much longer.... 750 initial payment and monthly payments of 125 i think they have had enough money out of me I am not needed any more.... Scam for young people

Have payed over £1000 in top up miles during my policy for them to cancel my insurance for exceeded mile usage (which I had intentions to pay for) when I phoned up to pay for the exceeded miles I was told that my insurance policy was cancelled and that the decision had been made by a higher power and there was nothing they could do! Lost my years no claims, my position as a driver in the company I work for and not to forget the 2 months insurance i had left on my policy. The inconvenience and stress this comapany has caused me is unbelievable... I wonder how much my insurance will be next year with a cancellation on my insurance record Reviewed on: 29th June 2019

Appalling customer service

Absolutely appalling customer service,they leave you on hold for fifteen twenty minutes. Don’t take insurance out with this company! They used to have an English call centre,it sounds like they have our sourced to Africa as it’s hard to understand the advisors.Quality poor. Reviewed on: 3rd June 2019
