Useless.waste of money and time.they scam people

I insured my phone with flex plus and I lost it.at the begging they didn’t want to believe I lost my phone at the end they accept it but they sent me an empty package and I couldn’t prove that I didn’t receive the phone.DO NOT OPEN FLEX PLUS ACCOUNT. Reviewed on: 25th July 2023

Very Little Insurance Cover

Our Holiday was cancelled due to the Travel Agent going into liquidation. The Nationwide Flexplus unbelievably wouldn’t cover us for this, so pretty useless insurance really. Reviewed on: 19th June 2023

Useless, a waste of time!

Today, Thursday - and having spent an interminable amount of time waiting on the phone until their phone options listed all kinds of everything (Surprised? Hahaha!)! the recording then happily told me UK Insurance have now decided to CLOSE their phonelines on Tuesdays & Thursdays - AND then hung up on me! A total waste of my time, thanks for nothing! Never claimed, but customer service dodgy.

I've never needed to claim, so cannot comment on that aspect of their service, but dealing with their customer service regarding medical screening can be very difficult. The adviser I encountered was unclear, gave me inaccurat information, coughed into the phone while speaking to me and left me thinking I had no trust in this organisation to deliver a good service. Best current account for my needs, with the best building society!

FlexPlus as an account is excellent - I really feel it's good value for money, as the package it offers has saved me so much money on phones when they've broken, as well as helping with car breakdowns and travel issues! Over the last few decades I have been delighted with how the Building Society operates, including giving members a say at AGMs. The Fairer Share pay award is an excellent example of how they're looking out for their members. Hospital stay necessary during trip

After nine days away, I became ill suddenly and unexpectedly with pneumonia. So unwell with breathing problems I thought I would die. The Vithas hospital staff on the Costa del Sol were brilliant. I was in hospital for 18 days and the Nationwide Insurance team gave me so much help, I cannot fault them. They kept me informed about my treatment via their UK doctors by email and offered to contact family. Told me not to worry about missing a flight they would arrange my journey back to UK. After I was discharged from hospital Nationwide put me in a hotel arranged a flight and transport to the airport. My grateful thanks to all the team. xx Reviewed on: 16th May 2023

Bad service

Was taken ill on holiday abroad with heart condition and admitted to hospital immediately put claim in via phone/online could not share all documents online, trying to ring is a joke on hold over an hour each time. Then mu online claims got cancelled. Sent documents in post had text acknowledgement f paperwork in post but no claim number. Try to call to progress claim closed Tues and Thursdays other days can't get though been nearly 3 months post claim now. Always used never claimed terrible service Reviewed on: 9th May 2023

Nationwide travel

Took out travel insurance flex plus paid extra £65 being over 70 years of age P&O policy is to place luggage prior to disembarking out side cabin door .my baggage went missing and was told by nationwide I should not have put my luggage out prior to disembarking P&O policy is. To have luggage outside your cabin by 6 pm prior to disembarking and refuse payout. Reviewed on: 4th May 2023
