Best place for banking with

I’ve been banking with Nationwide for many years. The customer service is excellent and very professional and I will be their customer for many years to come. Reviewed on: 24th March 2026

FlexPlus - the best account I’ve ever had

The FlexPlus has been the best current account I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a few), for a good many reasons. Firstly, they aren’t owned like the rest, which sits better with me. Secondly, the app is secure, feels safe, provides adequate warnings etc., but not at all at the expense of ease of use. Bit thirdly, although its price has increased, I believe the array of insurances available for the monthly fee is second to none! Furthermore, whilst I’ve only ever had to claim once on any of them, it was an effortless experience. Oh, and they aren’t closing branches like the rest, either! In short, I would - and have - convinced others to back with Nationwide, and have nothing but praise for their service provided. Keep up the good work! Reviewed on: 24th March 2026

Flexplus account has good insurance products for a fee.

Flexplus account has good insurance products for a fee. The fee is far better than individual insurances. Savings rates are not the best however. Reviewed on: 13th March 2026

AA breakdown cover from Nationwide flex plus

I hit a pothole and burst a tyre at midday. Reporting procedure was quick and efficient, however AA came after 2 hours of reporting and I had to wait in the car in the middle of the road with 60m/ph road. Reviewed on: 3rd March 2026

Excellent Benefits with great value for money.

I have been very reluctant to pay for an account on a regular basis. However, Nationwide FlexDirect Plus offers really good value for money and comprehensive benefits in particular it's travel insurance cover. The fact it covers cruises too is an added bonus and saves hundreds of pounds compared with purchasing that separately. Reviewed on: 23rd January 2026
