Ridiculous System

A simpe task to order a cheque book to pay the milkman was a mamoth task with stupid circular questions. A simple 'order checkbook' button after login would do the job instantly! Reviewed on: 24th February 2025

Still rooms for improvement

Was a bit disappointed that NatWest Group - Cora was not able to answer a simple question like: "Request for payment holidays" -- which is something I assume should be quite common? Nothing put people off more than a chat bot couldn't answer a simple question. Reviewed on: 31st March 2023

Cora is completely useless

Natwest's site is plastered in things trying to get you to vote for Cora. Their chat assistant has crashed on me a dozen times this morning, and has replaced any sort of phone support when setting up a new account. Cora is not fit for purpose - unless that purpose is driving away custom and causing your bank to go out of business. Reviewed on: 31st March 2023

Good idea, but no solutions

I understand that banks want to save money by reducing their customer service team. I have nothing against employing AI to do that. I had to use Cora a couple of times, and almost every time I had to speak to a human in the end, as the circular answers of Cora did not solve anything.. I can read the guides online, but if the guidance and FAQ do not answer my questions then I don't want to spend another half hour with Cora before I can finally speak to someone who can string all elements of my question together, not take one word and then poke pointlessly around that one word like Cora, wasting my time with circular questions which lead nowhere. Perhaps other people have less complicated questions, and the system will get better over time. Right now I am rather unimpressed. Reviewed on: 31st March 2023
