wanted to open a new account

The Penzance branch said "we need to open a new account on line" and would not help in the branch. Being 76 years old personal assistance is easier. We are renting out our previous house we lived in, out and need a sperate "Joint " account to help us control the finances It would have been easier if the bank could assist with advise but personal service seems to have gone out of the window.
