Review of the NatWest, Cash ISA:

Easy to use website/easy to transfer money in/out

4
I signed up for a savings account with Natwest online. I found their website easy to use and the account was set up within minutes. I also use NatWest's mobile app - I find this very accessible. I can transfer money in and out of the savings account easily and can see at a glance how much I have in my account. Although interest rates are low this is across the board with mainstream banks therefore I will not mark them down because of this (written in August 2016) Reviewed on: 30th August 2016

Never been unfair

Never been unfair, always helpful. Advice gave us the correct product. Reviewed on: 12th January 2018

Dreadful interest rates

NatWest offers no incentive to save. I appreciate that base rates are not set by NatWest but the bank profits from the money stored by customers. They should be more fairly compensated, rather than hiding behind low interest rates as an excuse. Other banks are offering many tines more interest. The only positive is the iPhone app which is easy to use and gives plenty of information. Reviewed on: 3rd January 2018

Banking

Nice friendly bank easy to deal with Reviewed on: 7th November 2017

Good banking

4
I have been with the bank for more than thirty years and have had no trouble using it. Staff at my branch are always polite and helpful and patient if I have any problems. Reviewed on: 22nd August 2017

Low interest rate

2
It was easy to set up an account with Natwest, however the interest rate was so low that I decided to move the bulk of my money to a different bank so that I could get a better return. Reviewed on: 9th August 2017

Terrible Interest

What's the point in tax free interest on savings if you have no interest to pay tax on? Reviewed on: 6th June 2017

Easy to understand and use

5
Makes saving digestible and easy. The app makes a big difference to this, allowing me to easily move money from my current accounts to my ISA Reviewed on: 4th April 2017

ok but nothing special

but that is frankly a larger issue Reviewed on: 4th April 2017

Fantastic Service!

5
I have been with Natwest for many years now, and I have never had a problem with them. However I recently opened a cash ISA and I realised just how good their products and customer service were. Their rates are really very fair and the support and advice provided by those who work there has been fantastic every step of the way. Highly recommend! Reviewed on: 4th April 2017

Unable to follow instructions

Attempting to set up account for my wife who has dementia with me acting as deputy power of attorney. So far this has taken over 4 weeks, they have all the relevant paper work but have decided not to follow my request to leave our joint account as is with both names showing and were in the process of removing her name. On complaining I was encourage to make a complaint this I have done and have been promised a call on Monday the 20.03.17. Having been a customer for fifty years I can only assume that loyalty counts for nothing. Reviewed on: 17th March 2017
