After seeking help from a professional HSBC came out the best for my circumstances in terms of a 5 yr fixed mortgage. I like the fact the paperwork that was sent through explained in detail and also a brief summary of what the terms of the mortgage were and how much I could overpay each year.
The app is easy to use and it is useful to keep track of how the mortgage payments are impacting on the amount borrowed.

Bought home insurance via Tesco bank online. The process was efficient due to the easy to use website. Questions asked were clear. Documents regarding the insurance were emailed in a timely manner.

Easy account to access online. Online banking easy to set up. The process of moving money in and out of the account is simple but there is ample security.

The State Bank of India opened a savings account for me as I had opened an ISA with them and the yearly interest would be placed in the savings account. I received notification by post that the savings account had been opened. I was also provided with details to enable me to use online banking. The saving account is easy to use and I have been able to transfer money from the savings account to a current account at another bank easily. I would open another account with State Bank of India in future, especially as their customer service whilst I have been with them (18 months) has been good.
