My elderly, disabled parents had their car stolen and the shower of sh** at the post office don't give a damn. No courtesy car, no calls, no customer service, nothing. The elderly trust the post office brand but reality when having to make a claim is a different experience. I'm currently having to sort their claim out because post office staff are as helpful as syphillis in a knocking shop. The new car insurance will not be with the post office and the home insurance will also be getting changed.

Made the process so easy and stress free knowing I was very upset. And also moved very fast with recovering my car, sorting me a rental and giving me a quote. Will recommend.

I received letter dated 17/07/2020 from Post Office Money stating they would deduct further £13.74 on my recently agreed car insurance policy unless I had LV Insurance send in writing that CUE information they had declared in 2017 was wrong. After three calls to LV insurance they provided a letter stating the claim in 2017 was a no fault claim which I forwarded by email as instructed on 30/07/2029 to Cueproof@insure-systems.co.uk. I then received further letter from Post Office Money dated 6/08/2020 stating that the premium of £13.74 would still be deducted or I could cancel policy for a charge £55.00. I therefore telephoned and was informed that the charge was due to my non declaration at time of application. So in fact I had completely wasted my time fulfilling their instructions. My previous insurer Ageas made no issue about the matter. I feel Post Office Money have ripped me off and wasted my time. I will certainly never deal with them again. I have the impression that they are a dodgy Insurance outfit trading under a prestigious company’s name.

I have had car insurance through the Post Office for a few years. However, this year when my insurance was due for renewal, I received a letter to say their panel of insurers were unable to offer me insurance. Nothing has changed since last year and I've not made any claims for years. They were unable to offer any explanation when I phoned. However, silver lining, I have got insurance with another reputable company at £100+ less!

I thought that the +50 offer looked like a good scheme so made an application on-line and was accepted, paid a years premium, documents duly arrived by post and then two or three days before the policy was due to start I received a letter informing me that the policy had been cancelled.
The reason given was that the Claims Underwriting Exchange (CUE) had belatedly identified two accidents that had taken place in the last five years that had not been declared by me. The first was on 01 August 2013 which I admittedly overlooked. The second was in May this year when a visitor bumped my vehicle when it was parked in my drive. I was in fact in bed. The third party admitted liability and his insurance company paid for repair. I had made no claim. CUE, however, had identified me as the driver and of being at fault.
To try to sort this out with customer services became a nightmare, it took ages to get through in the first place and then often the line went dead before I could speak to anybody. In the end I realised that I was flogging a dead horse and went back to my original insurer.
All this, when a quick call from PO Customer Services could have sorted these anomalies.
I then discovered that there is no address to which you can send a letter of complaint: it all has to handled by CS.
If there was a minus five star rating that would be my selection.
I too will be contacting the Car Insurance Ombudsman.

Got my first car in January 2018 from a dealership. After a month this car completely broke and I had to give it back. I got a Toyota Aygo instead which should of been much cheaper to insure than my first car. I had two options: Cancel my insurance and pay stupid feed and lose a month worth of insurance (£140)!!!! or stay with post office because I would of lost my no claims. The post office made my insurance so much more expensive than it should be! I should be paying no more than £80 for a little Toyota Aygo and they're charging me £140 a month! The Post Office is stealing money from people in the day light! Few more months and I'll be able to finish my year insurance and NEVER use them again! Would not recommend! Very rude staff too.

I have been driving for over 20 years and this is the most appalling car insurance i have ever experienced. I had an accident in January 2018 whereby another driver drove into me whilst stationery the third party wrote to me two days later to admit full liability

Five months down the line post office insurance has still not updated the database to say this is a none fault accident resulting in my claim being counted as my fault by insurance companies. (one o f their excuses was that they did not receive payment from third party however the third party insurance company has been exceptional an only did not pay because post office had not sent them details of the amount owing.

This has resulted in my having to pay 400 pounds to post office for insurance on the car from february to october (the car is no longer existent from february) and because they have not updated the car insurance database that this is a none fault accident my insurance has gone up on my new car from 500 pounds to 1000

i have rung this company on average once a week from february to June with an average time on phone of 40 mins and they still have not sorted it. I am now going to have to take this to financial ombudsman.

Avoid them like the plague

Don't waste your money no customer service they just pass the buck, the people on the phones just seem to look up a list of replays and pick one.nobody takes responsibility. The legal team I was given was minster law to call them cowboys is derogatory to cowboys. Total useless lie telling wide boys. Please don't waste your time and money if you do your be sorry. I'm off to take some advice from a proper insurance company. And the ombudsman can deal with minster law. There should be a law to stop clowns posing as solicitor's and insurance brokers.

Don't be fooled like me and use Post Office. When you need them most... which is when you are needing to make a claim they are beyond shocking.

Seriously I can't describe how bad the service is and leaves you frustrated and even more stressed at a time when you don't need any more stress.

It seems that the post office are just a broker like many other companies, but they also outsource the call centres and now use Enterprise Rent a Car to manage your claim! I've had to spend hours now on the phone trying to get someone to help me with my claim and all they do is say that they are a broker and I have to deal with Axa.

Seriously don't make the same mistake as me and think that Post Office is an ethical company and your insurance is safe with them. It isn't. And their set-up for customer services response is so poor.

Will never use them or any of the post office services again.
