Avoid sheils wheels - had to organise my own repair

Having spent over 2 hours on hold i finally made a claim. They emailed me the details of the garage they they had 'arranged'. I rang the garage 2 days later as we hadnt heard from them and they informed me that they were not an approved repairer for the car so couldn’t take the job. The insurance policy clearly states the make of the car, so why would they try and send the car to a garage that cant repair it? Unfortunately this got worse. I immediately rang Sheilas Wheels and the staff member wasn’t even aware that the garage wasn’t going to take the car! What a waste of 2 days. They then said they would ask a different garage. I rang that garage the following day and they informed me that they wouldn’t take a car as far out of their area. This happened for another 2 garages, all with the same issue – they wouldn’t repair a car unless it was in their area. So not only was the mistake made in the first place, but it was repeated 3 times! And each time, I have to ring the garage to find out and then tell sheilas wheels as they clearly have no system for checking or follow up. This went on for a week before they said i should arrange my own garage!!! Awful lack of follow up, and stupid waste of time. Reviewed on: 25th February 2024

I wanted to cancel my insurance (4 mths left ) as I have stopped driving . After 2hrs waiting on the phone I finally got through and was told that the cancellation was , suprise , suprise equal to the price of insurance left on my policy !!! I neednt have bothered !!! Had a no fault accident. This company recommended going with their Mister Law to claim for injuries received

After 5 months from Mister Law taking on my case I am still waiting for an outcome. The doctor they sent me to had a lack of understanding of English and repeated back to me a totally different account of the incident and how I received my injuries! I contacted Mister Law on 10th October was informed "oh it has been a long while" and they would pass on my details so it could be chased up. I requested a complaints form as I was unhappy with the delay. Never had any form or update. 8 days later still heard nothing so contacted Shelia's Wheels, who recommended Mister Law on their site and again to me when the accident occurred. Their response "we can't do anything", though they have received back their expenses back and the case is closed from their side! They did contact Mister Law when I pushed that I had taken the company they had recommended. Mister Law responded that I can email my complaint to them and they should hopefully get back to me within a week! I would not recommend either of these companies and disappointed that as a customer of Shelia's Wheels they have left me to sort this out myself.
