Nobody better for ethical investing.

There is nobody better for ethical investing. I think there could be better customer service at times (e.g. a mobile app that tracks live performance of your holdings). But I am investing to have impact, so I am happy Reviewed on: 21st February 2025

Make sure your money is doing good

I love banking with Triodos. Knowing that our money isn't funding anything that we wouldn't want it to, and indeed is doing good, makes a huge difference and means that we're doing more to help the planet and our kids' future than we otherwise could. All this, and I don't have to spend hours on research...love it! Customer services are super-helpful when contacted (but I haven't needed to contact them often). Reviewed on: 21st March 2024

Trustworthy ethical investments

This is the only bank on the market that I trust with ethical investments. They are fully transparent and true to their word. I would highly recommend Triodos to anyone. Reviewed on: 20th March 2024

Investing in sustainable development is very satisfying

I admire and appreciate the clear and transparent way Triodos explains its ethical values, and its choice of investments. Their adherence to the UN sustainable development goals as criteria, and their careful selection of companies in whom to invest match with my own values and criteria as an investor for good. Added to this their reports of investments are clearly laid out and easy to understand. Reviewed on: 29th February 2024

Ethical, Friendly and Efficient

Morality in banking

We should all think about the good or the harm our money is doing when we’re spending it or investing it. I’m happy to know my money is being used for sustainable, worthwhile causes, not invested in harmful, planet-destroying or slavery-supporting companies. Reviewed on: 25th February 2024

Triodos Bank Depository Receipts are a disaster!.

Triodos Bank attracted investment in the bank from individuals using an instrument known as Depository Receipts. I still hold mine from over a decade ago. Two or three years ago DR investors were told that the option to sell DRs back to the bank was ending. After a long hiatus we then heard that the intended open market for trading DRs was ready and we had to go through the most intrusive and excessive identification process to participate. Having done that, I saw the valuation of my DRs drop by over 50% in a couple of months. Triodos Bank has not had the wit or courtesy to write to investors to explain why our holdings have plummeted in value. They have abused the loyalty of long term investors in their bank. If they manage their clients funds like they have managed the DRs I can’t see how they they have any clients. Reviewed on: 23rd February 2024
