Ethical and good returns

Customer service is not the best but Triodos is the most ethical of all banks which is absolutely brilliant. Triodos has provided the best return of all my ethical investments. Reviewed on: 22nd April 2026

It's such a relief to know where my money is going...

It's such a relief to know where my money is going and what it's being used for. I have accounts with other 'high street' banks and I shudder to think of what they're doing with my money, where they're investing it etc. I also don't trust the big banks with anything they describe as 'ethical' because their entire business model, history and culture is nefarious and damaging. Banking generally has a lot to answer for in the way the industry contributes to rapidly escalating inequality and all aspects of the metacrisis. I trust Triodos. It feels like the money I keep there is an engine for positive change rather than an accelerator of harm. The service is great and the returns on the investments I've made have been great. A good idea

Investment with Triodos is secure. Secure in the knowledge that they are not going bust and that they use money ethically, often in innovative ways which help to make the world a little better. Not something that can be said about most banks! Reviewed on: 21st April 2026
