It's such a relief to know where my money is going...

It's such a relief to know where my money is going and what it's being used for. I have accounts with other 'high street' banks and I shudder to think of what they're doing with my money, where they're investing it etc. I also don't trust the big banks with anything they describe as 'ethical' because their entire business model, history and culture is nefarious and damaging. Banking generally has a lot to answer for in the way the industry contributes to rapidly escalating inequality and all aspects of the metacrisis. I trust Triodos. It feels like the money I keep there is an engine for positive change rather than an accelerator of harm. The service is great and the returns on the investments I've made have been great. Money as an engine for good

I use Triodos to invest money in a way that I can be assured has a positive impact and won’t be used to support or finance nefarious business practices ‘out of sight and out of mind’. Knowing that my money is an engine for good instead of a problematic contribution to the unethical mainstream banking industry brings me some relief in this oft-disappointing world!
