CHAPS TRANSFER FROM CLASSIC PLUS ACCOUNT TO BENEFICIARY

I PERSONALLY WENT TO TSB COVENTRY BRANCH TO MAKE A CHAPS TRANSFER OF LARGE AMOUNT FOR THE INVESTMENT ON 26TH OCTOBER 2020, WHICH WAS EXECUTED BY THE BRANCH CASHIER OVER THE COUNTER. CHAPS TRANSFER MEANS THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS MUST BE CREDITED TO THE BENEFICIARY'S ACCOUNT LATEST BY 6PM ON 26TH OCTOBER 2020. ON 27TH OCTOBER, THE BENEFICIARY INFORMED ME THAT THE FUNDS HAVE NOT BEEN CREDITED YET. I CAN NOT UNDERSTAND THAT HOW THE ELECTRONIC TRANSFER CAN GO MISSING. SINCE THEN I AM ASKING TSB BANK AS TO WHERE IS MY MONEY BY LOGGING THE QUERY WITH THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICES 3 TIMES SO FAR, WITH THE BRANCH STAFF PERSONALLY ON 28TH OCTOBER 2020, SENT EMAILS TO SENIOR MANAGEMENT OF THE BRANCH, BUT NONE OF THEM SHOWN ANY COURTESY TO UPDATE ME ABOUT MY LARGE FUND. I FEEL NOW THAT TSB BANK DON'T CARE FOR THE CUSTOMER AS ON TODAY STILL I HAVE NOT BEEN INFORMED AS TO WHERE IS MY MONEY AFTER 6 WORKING DAYS. THE BENEFICIARY HAS QUESTIONED MY INTEGRITY AS WELL. THIS STANDARD OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS RUBBISH AND GAVE ME THE FEELING AS IF TSB BANK DO NOT CARE FOR YOUR MONEY MISSING ON THEIR PART. THE AMOUNT OF TRANSFER WAS MY PENSION. I AM ALSO PENSIONER AS WELL. BUT TSB BANK STAFF DON'T BELIEVE IN CUSTOMER CARE. AS ON TODAY I AM STILL WAITING FROM TSB TO GIVE ME THE FULL INFORMATION AS TO WHERE IS MY MONEY. Very poor customer service and intrusive staff.

TSB Pype Hayes Branch. Went in to withdraw money from my account, only to be asked repeatedly what was I using the money for? Told them I was having building work completed and needed to pay for the work. The older male member of staff who was working on another counter then got involved in the conversation and told me cash jobs are tax avoidance and effects the funding for ambulance's? I couldn't believe what I was hearing, so rude and unnecessary, he was only presuming. I was then asked in a loud voice "How did I want my money?" What about the people listening behind me, what about security? A totally worrying experience that has made me and my family move to another bank. I only use TSB for a couple of direct debits now and nothing else. A really shocking experience. Reviewed on: 16th February 2023

The worse bank ever

This is the worse bank like ever the app is always down and never works which mqkes it pretty damn useless then to report a fraudulent claim you have to go through this system of going on line trying to understand which part you need to do then it wipes it off so you start again probably so you will forget the problem like i would recommend tsb not good at all . Miss the old tsb brand

I miss the illustrations TSB used to have as part of their branding. Where you login to the app early morn it’s someone on their commute. Or in the middle of the night it’s a father nursing a baby. It was subtle but made TSB more human which is rare for any bank to acheive. I thought it very much delivered on their community bank approach. I miss this. The new brand is cold. And makes TSB feel quite corporate and unappealing Reviewed on: 18th January 2022
