AVOID Zuto illegally sell cars with multiple outstanding safety recalls, then when something goes wrong they just expect you to prove there was in issue within 6 months and blank over the fact the manufacturer has said they broke the law by selling a car with safety recalls outstanding. Customer Care Team are really unhelpful, keep sending you the same prewritten emails, no compassion, absolutely no help. They tell you a car has full service history, them BMW says its never had a single service in its life. I'm now stuck with them while seeking legal advice, but I'll do everything I can to stop others being done over and will leave a fresh review every week till the finance is paid off. Appalling Aftercare, Company are liars and decietful..

Where to begin? Initially, came across as a decent company, any questions dealt with, quick to call you to sign documents to push the sale through but then again they are looking to sell you something to boost their commission, the moment you want a refund or “unwind” as they put it, the company turns into Casper the ghost, no email communication, no call backs when arranged, nothing… because they know they are loosing their commission they don’t want to know or deal with you, no empathy, no apologies, aftercare is important when buying a car and this company don’t have a clue about it, once you’ve signed up and paid, kiss goodbye to anyone communicating with you. They search your number up before answering phones and drop calls, leave you on hold for ages hoping you drop the call, you ask to speak to a certain person/department they are busy all the time, or on a break, they will call back but never do, no reply to emails. I financed a Vauxhall insignia through Zuto through one their “partnered dealerships” no service history or spec on the adds, (should of been a warning there and then, but was desperate for a car) in short I had the car 9 days!!, the clutch was sticking when changing gear, engine management light came on, I have my own OBD reader and 3 codes were showing up which I have emailed proof to them, and then a popping noise came from under the bonnet going at 30mph, I had the AA out the turbo/intercooler pipe blew off, AA mechanics said this is a first time he had seen this on this model/age and would indicate underlaying problems. So now we have 3 engine fault codes, sticky clutch and a blown pipe connecting to the engine, this is clearly a substandard and broken vehicle that should not of been sold. Now I know this isn’t Zutos fault the car is knackered but since reporting this to them, showing proof of OBD, showing the AA report, they still don’t call you back or give advice or provide updates, I have had to arrange recovery myself back to the dealer which is 186 miles away, I have had to communicate with the dealership and even they said keep on Zuto as they aren’t to best at communicating to the dealers let alone customers!, I have had conversations with Zuto who reply we will call the dealer, I then call the dealer and they’ve never heard anything from them. Zuto stated they can’t get through, but I get through to the dealer in 5 rings and the dealer says Zuto never called them.i called the finance company directly moneybarn who are also waiting on Zuto to get back to them about the unwind. Zuto are liars and deceitful and don’t give a toss about you when they know they aren’t cashing in on you, I have now been without a car for two weeks, I’ve had to get taxis to see my children and get a train to work at an extra cost and you would think from what I’ve described this is an open and shut case, car is faulty within 9 days, I’ve recovered car to the dealer, dealer says they approve the rejection, Zuto what are you doing? Just let go and give your commission back and treat customers fairly as you would when they are calling into you to buy something. Now zuto have got good reviews when the cars are in good nick and you don’t actually need zuto for anything else after that but god forbid you get a dodgy car like I did and you have to go through this rigmarole of dealing with this sub-par company. I would urge you to look elsewhere as the customer service and treatment of customers has been shocking since you don’t make them any ££££ Zuto you know who I am, The guy that has been ringing in every other day for updates Vauxhall Insignia - KN18 EUF, unwind the bloody finance and give your earnings back, me, the dealer, and finance provider and all waiting for you to action this. Zuto Finance has proven to be a nightmare from start to finish. My experience with them has been nothing short of a prolonged ordeal filled with frustration, financial strain, and ultimately disappointment. My grievances with Zuto Finance began in July 2023, when I encountered issues with a vehicle financed through them. Despite reaching out to address these issues promptly, what ensued was a seemingly endless cycle of delays, excuses, and blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. One of the most infuriating aspects of dealing with Zuto Finance was their deliberate prolongation of my complaint until I had no legal recourse left to return the vehicle. It's clear that their strategy was to exhaust me into submission rather than genuinely addressing my concerns. This tactic is not only unethical but demonstrates a complete lack of integrity on their part. To add insult to injury, during the months when my complaint was being "investigated," I was advised by Zuto Finance not to use the vehicle. This impractical suggestion not only rendered the vehicle useless but also resulted in me incurring exorbitant expenses for alternative transportation arrangements. The fact that they failed to offer any form of compensation for this inconvenience is utterly appalling. Furthermore, when I reached out to express my inability to sustain these financial burdens any longer, Zuto Finance conveniently waited until the mileage on the vehicle was at a critical point before taking any action. This calculated move demonstrates a complete disregard for the well-being of their customers and further solidifies their prioritization of profit over customer satisfaction. In conclusion, my experience with Zuto Finance has been nothing short of a nightmare. Their incompetence, lack of accountability, and disregard for customer welfare have left me deeply disillusioned. Sadly lacking in customer service

Well Zuto were extremely helpful at first and Michael Madeley was superb throughout purchase of my car so credit where it is due. I have since had issues with the car and the aftercare/customer care responses and general customer service has been of a sub standard level, which is disappointing to say the least. Would not recommend Zuto with regards to issues with the full package in regards to customer service. Still awaiting to hear back days after calling etc it just gets a little farcical. They focus on making sales only and pretend to care for the customer

I had to go over 350miles to pick up my car only to find out it was not communicated with the car company so had to wait and the car company speed up the prep for the car which meant they did not service the car. I complained to my main contact from Zuto and he said it was reported to the complaints department and they will call me. It has been over two weeks and no one has called me! Also the sales guy sold me misinformation on the car warranty and told me I was on a package which turns out I was not when I paid and received the information after payment. Be aware

Advised which dealership to use but I'm sitting here with a car broken down within a couple of weeks and supposedly fixed fast forward five months I have a car sitting on my drive sorn off the road needing a new engine and a small claim win against the dealership also a ombudsman investigation and I've had no transport for three months .
