Zuto washed there hands of it . Reviewed on: 8th November 2023

Zuto Very bad company

1
Zuto opened the Bumper account on 31.08.2023, and I have cancelled the deal with the dealer and with the  Bumper service on 04.09.2023 by phone, normally, I have 14 days to cancel. The Zuto has cancelled the deal with finance services, and I got the text messages for cancellation on 14.09.2023, but he hasn't cancelled Bumper. I tried to contact them so many times but still nothing happened. I will  complain Zuto because this is not legal. The Bumper account is open for the car plate. Nr:........I've never owned this car!!!  The account was opened for a period of 1 year with a monthly contribution of £39.99, in the amount of £3000. The service allows us to use this credit up to £3,000 in case of a car breakdown or car repair. And reimbursement in instalments. Since I do not own this car and have never owned it, they can not charge me money unless I never use their service because I never get this car. It's logical Reviewed on: 2nd November 2023

Nightmare experience

1
Purchase my car through Zuto. Most helpful. Asked if I wanted a warranty agreed. The next day i read the reviews of the warranty company and cancelled. Then I have £96.90 taken from my bank by a company I had not heard of. It would appear that Zuto sell the warranty and claim the money from Bumper. Zuto will not cancel the warranty and bumper keep trying to take money. The car I purchased had 2 dents in the body work a missing head rest and the airbag light on the dash. I was going the cancel the car but decided to get the car sorted as it was a 1 owner car. 2 months later I get a fine for not paying the dart charge on the day it was delivered. Be aware when using this broker to sorce your next car people Reviewed on: 18th September 2023

Avoid at all costs

1
I have used a Zuto previously several years ago and had a positive experience. However I purchased a car through zuto on 28/07, unfortunately I chose to reject the car and notified Zuto and the dealer immediately after delivery of the car. I was assured by Zuto the process would be quick and resolved quickly. It’s now been over THREE weeks since I notified Zuto I wanted to cancel the finance agreement and over TWO weeks since the car was returned to the dealer. Over the last couple of weeks I have had to call Zuto repeatedly to find out when they are going to contact the finance company to cancel the agreement; each time they either leave me on hold, cut me off or I end up speaking to a different person every time who can’t help to resolve the issue. Zuto received the funds back in full but still have not returned said funds to the dealer despite it being over two weeks since the car was returned. I am left paying for a car I do not have because of Zuto lack of customer service and basic consideration. Zuto are quick enough to answer the phone if you are calling to accept a car however if you need their assistance afterwards, they don’t want to know! Their customer service is appalling. Extremely Disappointed with Zuto's Unprofessionalism and Lack of Accountability

1
I am absolutely appalled by the level of unprofessionalism and lack of accountability displayed by Zuto, particularly their finance advisor Dan. As a care assistant who works tirelessly to help the less fortunate, I expected the same level of care and consideration when dealing with my own financial matters. However, my experience with Zuto has been nothing short of a nightmare. Initially, Dan seemed helpful and professional during the application process. However, once I made the payment for the warranty, his attitude took a negative turn. It became evident that he was no longer interested in providing quality service or maintaining a professional demeanor. After two weeks of waiting, Dan suddenly congratulated me on the approval of my finance application and informed me that the vehicle would be ready for collection on Monday. Excited about my new vehicle, I made plans accordingly, taking the day off work and purchasing train tickets for a two-hour journey to the dealership. To my utter dismay, upon arrival at the dealership, I discovered that the payment had not been received, and I could not take possession of the vehicle. In a state of shock and frustration, I immediately contacted Zuto, only to find out that Dan was indeed working that day, despite what his colleague had claimed earlier. Dan then callously informed me that the finance had been rejected, contradicting his earlier statement. The most distressing part of this entire ordeal was Dan's denial of ever telling me to travel to collect the vehicle. As a 51-year-old woman, it was physically challenging for me to undertake a two-hour journey, and Dan's denial felt like a betrayal of my trust. Moreover, he attributed the finance rejection to the belief that the vehicle was not intended for me, even though I had personally confirmed otherwise. When I requested a resolution to rectify this situation, Dan callously stated that he could do nothing and offered nothing more than a hollow apology. To make matters worse, Zuto stopped answering my calls altogether, leaving me stranded without a car and unable to work, resulting in significant financial losses. What infuriates me the most is that Zuto not only failed to deliver on their promises but also refused to take responsibility for their actions. They have not shown any intention to reimburse me for the wasted costs, including the lost day's pay and train tickets. Their denial of any wrongdoing only adds insult to injury. While I acknowledge that financing applications can be rejected, Zuto's deceitful behavior and lack of customer care are unacceptable. I am deeply concerned that the rejection may have been racially motivated, considering my Asian surname. I may be mistaken, but the circumstances surrounding the rejection raise suspicions of racial profiling. I strongly advise anyone considering Zuto for their financial needs to think twice. Their unprofessionalism, dishonesty, and refusal to rectify their mistakes are indicative of a company that cannot be trusted. As a care assistant who genuinely cares for others, I am disheartened to have been treated so callously by a company I had trusted to act in good faith. Reviewed on: 19th July 2023

Great experience

I've seen the bad reviews about cars. Zuto experts will send you cars but it is up to you to do the due diligence. They are a broker. They have a list of cars from dealers they work with and they don't know anything about the cars. Take responsibility. My experience was excellent. I found a car nearby on their site. I took it for a test drive. Made my own decision and Zuto found me the finance. Was really efficient and the call handlers were friendly and helpful. My circumstances were a bit unusual and they worked with me to get the finance sorted. As long as you do what you would normally do when buying a car: check the MOT history, take it for a test drive, give it the once over - you'll be fine using Zuto. Reviewed on: 6th April 2023

DO NOT USE ZUTO AS YOUR FINANCE BROKER.

1
Don't use Zuto - Appalling after sales care. I'm kicking myself for not checking the reviews before contacting Zuto. BEWARE OF USING ZUTO - read my experience before signing on the dotted line. Sadly my experience of Zuto is that they are horrendously appalling. After sales care is non existent. Kept in touch until payment made for car. Now there is an issue, no one answers the phone. Promises for call back broken. Complaints not logged. Given incorrect information. Really bad experience. They don't even tell you upfront that calls are recorded. Here is the update on the Zuto saga. Complaint one. The car specialist Adam Crew was very friendly and from the first call on Monday 9th January 23, he said that I could be driving away in my new car by Saturday 14th. Pushed hard from day one to take out their warranty. I told him I didn't want to pay a deposit, then I got told on Thursday 13th that I had to pay almost a £600 deposit. Throughout the week we discussed collecting the vehicle on Saturday 14th and I was told twice that the dealer did not offer drive away insurance, so I was responsible to sort. Which I did (3 days temp insurance). Only to find out on the Saturday, from the dealer that the payout would not be until Monday 16th. When I spoke to Alex in processing on the Saturday 14th she said not to worry the lender does Saturday payouts. Well the 14th came and went with no payout. Called Zuto on the 16th for a refund of the cost of the temporary insurance. I was then told that they didn't categorically say the payout would be on Saturday. The problem was that they didn't say anything about the payout. So since then I've been back and forth - told different things. No one wants to take responsibility for the misinformation and expect me to be out of pocket after i incurred expenses based on the inform received from Zuto. Finally 30th January 23 spoke to Dexter Harris in complaints and he said he couldn't see anything logged on the system, but he will check. I then get an email from Dexter saying that, it was investigated and now closed. However, no one had spoken to me during the investigation or informed me of the outcome. When I called to discuss the email Luke said that they had selected a call and not listened to all calls and didn't hear anything guaranteeing a Saturday payout. Today 31st spoke to Dexter, he tells me that I can get the call transcripts which will take 30 days to sort out. Dexter refused to tell me who supposedly listened to the calls and refused to put me through to a manager. I have been fobbed off by Zuto on all fronts and they consistently lie and refuse to deal honestly with the complaints. I can understand why they have a backlog of complaints going back to Christmas Complaint 2. The car was finally collected on the 21st January, whilst driving back, the car wouldn't go into gear or neutral. Had to switch the engine off and restart the car. Approximately a 5 mile journey. Called the dealer and sent a message. Got no response. Called Zuto on the Monday 23rd, told that Adam would contact the dealer Mayfair Motor Solutions Ltd (Marble Arch) avoid at all cost unless you are buying a prestige car. As usual no call back from Zuto. Dealer sends a mobile mechanic in the evening who said the clutch had gone, leaking slaves and stiff gears. Car under warranty and dealer refused a courtesy car or to do the repairs - told Zuto that I burnt out the clutch. So now I have to wait for an ACE inspection, Zuto sent the request on the 27th January. I would recommend that you get everything in writing from Zuto, they can not be trusted. This a true and accurate account of my experience. Reviewed on: 31st January 2023
