I love it - I put a break in my house buying search because of the economy and I wanted to put some of my deposit in a high yielding account. Monument was by far the best. Not only that - the app is so smart and slick! This is what I wish old school banks would be like, since they have the funds to come up with something better.... But alas Monument bank has such a great user experience! Not only that! Unfortunately my phone was stolen at the start of the year and I forgot everything with regards to accessing my Monument account. The client service team got back to me within 15 minutes after my email. Everything was sorted in 2 days - not because of delays, but because I had to provide a lot of materials. Communication was flawless - they let me know when they received what they needed from me, what stage they were at, and if there was any delay I was told when the task would be finished and what delayed it. I love Monument bank because I don't think about it besides recommending it to others and that's what I want from a bank - security, great value, fabulous customer service and to not think and worry about it. Wanted to invest in a bond staff member extremely helpful. I was concerned about transferring x amount over in case of trouble going through, staff member suggested transferring £1 to make sure account open and I’m happy then transfer as much as I want to after being happy. Opening an account is a smooth process

I actually got refused an account in my first attempt but the problem was fixed quickly with prompt advice by a Monument advisor - one of my docs didn't pass the security check. I genuinely think it's a good thing, as it shows these guys take your security seriously. Reviewed on: 9th February 2023
