Be Careful with AA terms and conditions! Last week I realised my mot had expired by a week, I booked the mot and arranged for my car to be collected on trade plates by the garage, I went to start the car on my driveway and it was just clicking so I phoned the AA to explain but even though the car was on my drive and I have home start they refused to help! I explained I’m disabled and a blue badge holder and I’m unable to fix myself if it is just the battery. I have been with the AA for over 30 years on and off and have only used them twice and that was over 10 years ago. I have now cancelled my membership and will use the RAC as I could have broken down any where and as I can’t walk properly due to my disability i can’t take the risk with the attitude of the AA after my phone call with them. Missed Payment

After missing one monthly payment due to losing my job they cancelled my cover. I was a gold member at the time and had been with the AA for over 10 years. I thought I was a good customer paying nearly £50 a month Reviewed on: 30th May 2017

Simple and efficient

Breakdown cover was good price, simple to set up and easy to use. The bonus of having the app on my smartphone made the whole process of requesting help during a breakdown simple and stress free. Would definitely use AA again. Reviewed on: 29th October 2016

Awful

Had breakdown with them for a year. At renewal the price had doubled, so I cancelled. 6 months later they are still trying to take money from my account. would never go near them again Reviewed on: 28th October 2016

Rip off

Joined the AA 2 years ago for £129 and never had to use them! 2 years later renewal arrived wanting £186 and with a wasted 45 minutes on the phone I ended up cancelling! I now have full with homestart and everything the full deal for £110 just look at the reviews on driver guardian at trust pilot! Better reviews than AA! I will never join the AA again you will get better level of cover for less don't listen to them they are not the best don't be fooled but they are the most expensive. Reviewed on: 20th October 2016

Gift Membership of Breakdown Cover

As a Dad, I was worried about my daughter who does long days and late evenings in her job as a home care assistant. My concern was if she broke down and I could not get to her i.e. snowed in or at work myself and therefore was left stranded. So I shopped around looking for a gift membership for breakdown cover for her. The only one that I could find was with the AA. I bought the cover as part of her birthday present (the tax for her car is also due around this time :( ) The procedure to get this gift membership was so simple. You rang up gave the details and paid. The gift card membership came within a couple of weeks. Simples !! :D Reviewed on: 10th October 2016
