Great service, good price

Online system is easy to use and has all documents in one place. Renewing policy is simple and straightforward. The customer service team is good and helpful, it does take a long time on hold to get through. Reviewed on: 12th October 2023

Aviva Zero worst insurance

I had an absolutely dreadful experience with Aviva Zero Insurance. They are, without a doubt, the worst insurance company I've ever dealt with. My entire ordeal with them was a nightmare from start to finish. First and foremost, trying to get in touch with Aviva Zero is an exercise in futility. They never pick up their phones, and emails go unanswered. It's as if they have zero interest in communicating with their customers. To make matters worse, I had a brand new car that was damaged by another driver, and according to their engineer, it was deemed a write-off. However, when I sought a second opinion from another engineer, I was told that only the front bumper and intercooler needed to be changed. Aviva Zero Insurance, however, refused to budge from their initial assessment, leaving me with only half of what I should have received for the damage to my vehicle. It's clear that this company is more interested in sticking to their own opinions rather than providing fair and reasonable service to their customers. They seem utterly indifferent to the needs and concerns of their policyholders. I would strongly advise anyone considering Aviva Zero Insurance to think twice. If you ever need to make a claim, be prepared for a frustrating and disheartening experience. This company does not care about its customers, and I wouldn't wish their terrible service on anyone. Look elsewhere for insurance coverage—you'll be better off with a company that values its customers and provides honest and responsive service. Reviewed on: 10th October 2023

Massive cancellation fees

If you're going to risk using Aviva Zero for your policy get ready for a hefty £56 in cancellation fee if you sell your car. That's extortionate by any standards for what amounts to hitting the 'cancel' button on a computer. I won't be using them again and I certainly wouldn't recommend them as an insurer. Con artists

Con artists who ramp up auto renewal premiums by up to twice the orignal amount. No telephone service. No easy to access pricing or scheudle documents. Horrible people. Reviewed on: 18th September 2023

DO NOT PURCHASE CAR INSURANCE ONLINE FROM AVIVA.

DO NOT PURCHASE INSURANCE ONLINE FROM AVIVA. I got a policy online from Aviva, and l had 7 years No claims discount which was split between to cars, my personal and company car. They then rejected proof of No claims because it was part earned on a company. I accepted this conclusion. l then changed my policy only to include 4 years No claims, which increased my premium and l got new Policy. A week and half later l get an email saying my policy has been cancelled on grounds that l did not provide proof no claims discount. Which was incorrect as l send multiple evidence. As someone that’s been long term Aviva customer, l am extremely disappointed that l am unable to speak to a person, just constant emails from different people saying the same line “ Your policy has been cancelled, please get a new quote” no justification as to why my proof was incorrectly interpreted. Poor experience of General Accident by Aviva

I had car insurance through General accident, part of Aviva. When someone pulled out in front of me causing an accident after almost 2 years this ended up being my fault apparently and has affected my insurance for the next 5 years, mainly it would seem because they mis handled the claim (failed to contact independent witnesses or check any details) and failed to communicate with me. After formal complaints they did accept they had mis handled things and compensate me, but not enough to offset the increase in my insurance costs for the next 5 years - will never use them again.
