AXA car insurance has two levels of cover to choose from.

AXA offer a multi-car discount for cars registered at your home address. There are optional extras you can add on to your policy for an additional fee and you can also get cover for partial hybrid, plug in or fully electric vehicles.

Worse insurance company ever

I was involved in a non fault accident, British Gas driver accepted liability of the occasion and Axa being my insurance dealt with them and at the end Axa asked me to pay £500 access on a non fault accident and they said that cos I decided to fix my car at a garage I know and not the one they wanted to me to too even tho they never asked me to go to any garage all they said the garage has to be VAT registered !! Endless waiting times, missing money

I'm in contact with AXA since October and now end of January the process is still going on. I've send countless messages and everytime you wait days, if not weeks till you get an answer. Sometimes with the same information you had already thrown at you again. The worst thing tho is that they don't want to pay me back all the money from my car rental, although the damage is clearly listed as covered in the document I received when signing the contract. Great price and service

Good professional company, easy to deal with!

Had AXA insurance in the UK and Thailand and can not fault them, they may not be the cheapest but you get what you pay for. I would recommend AXA to my friends. Reviewed on: 15th September 2019

Fantastic customer service

I recently had car insurance with AXA for a couple of years. I did actually leave them this year because I found what they were offering cheaper elsewhere. However, I did have to question my decision quite a lot simply because the customer service I received over the phone from AXA was absolutely amazing. The lady was so personable and helpful and spent plenty of time with me giving me lots of options. I wouldn't hesitate to use AXA again in the future. Reviewed on: 26th August 2019

From poor to worse

I've used Axa several times in the past as I've inevitably bounced around between insurance providers due to pricing. Axa used to have great customer service so was worth the extra they cost at the time, however their prices for renewal this time were over £300 more than the first competitor I queried! If they're affordable for you then great, but do shop around! Reviewed on: 16th August 2019

Very reasonable prices

I had my car insurance with AXA for 2 years, overall I found their prices very competitive, the customer service was always excellent, very friendly and helpful staff. I had to claim on my windscreen cover and they were all extremely helpful throughout the claim. Reviewed on: 7th August 2019
