I could to use credit card only month and card suspe... I could to use credit card only month and card suspended, why i don't know because i used only about 60%. In future I'll refuse Barcklay service. Reviewed on: 15th January 2025

Credit card balance transfer

As a long standing customer of Barclays I was offered 'beat the market' rates on my balance transfer credit card. The process was super easy, I always use MSE to compare sites but Barclays online log in pre-approves you so it was super easy to apply straight from there. Easy to use app also. Very good 0% offers

Really bad communication

Sadly I've never had a good experi nice with BA claycard. They're good with their online features but sadly if you have to phone then it's another matter. The call centre is overseas and always hard to have a proper non scripted conversation. I've never been able to resolve any issues iv had amicably and no longer bother calling. Cashback reduction

I used the card for four years having got it for the market leading 2% cashback at the time - despite having to use amex. over the years they've eroded that rate and they're now telling me i'm at 0.5% so i'm jumping ship. It's a shame because the app is really nice and managing the account has mostly been a breeze, but without any benefits, i'll balance transfer to a 0% card and at least get the benefit of not having to pay it. Customer service when needed is not great - with the only real option being to call with long wait times and foreign call centres Reviewed on: 28th June 2017
