A safe and unsecured card

I’v had Barclaycard for a number of years. Over the years I’v had to get them to get money back for goods that didn’t arrive. They are Quick to respond if there’s any suspicious activity on my account. I feel extremely safe with this Card and thank them for the service they have provided over the years. Crap

Good deals

Benefits could be better

Better than OK

It's good as I get cash back - we always pay our off anyway so interest rates are irrelevant. Better than OK but not Amazing - it doesn't make the dinner or anything... Reviewed on: 30th November 2016

Always reliable

Poor!

Poor! Their Indian call centre completely messed up a request of mine a few months back, and I'm really not happy! Reviewed on: 29th November 2016

Good interest free period

I use Barclaycard for its 0% interest for 25 months providing I pay it off each month which I always ensure I do...at the end of the term it jumps up to a ridiculous APR so it shall be chopped up into tiny pieces by then, and another 0% card shall be sought! Reviewed on: 29th November 2016

Can't dispute transactions

Mailed them my dispute for goods never received. They mailed me letter back thirty days later saying they never received my letter and I have to pay it. Transaction was only $40. But, I am cancelling because I am not willing to correspond on even larger transactions via snail mail. Reviewed on: 18th September 2016

Premium Barclaycard

I applied for a Premium Barclaycard credit card after my original bank was only willing to offer me an extortionate interest rate loan. From the initial application to two years down the line I have nothing but praise for this card. Easy to use website, very clear information, simple to pay your bill each month - delighted with it, and shows up my original bank no end! Highly recommended. Reviewed on: 21st August 2016

Ok but could be better

I had a problem that took a while to resolve. I had to escalate it but once it had been passed to a manager it was resolved quickly. It did take a few calls which was frustrating and they could have been more professional but overall it was resolved to my satisfaction. Reviewed on: 30th June 2016
