the app needs work

I'd never go to anyone else

I've banked with Barclays since I was old enough to hold a bank account. I trust them implicitly so much so that I have not only my mortgage through them but also both of my children's savings accounts, all of which I can easily access via the app. I have never had any issue with the products, services or staff ... 100% professional 100% of the time. A lot of fraud and scam, lost your money easily

Amazing

When my mum passed away they couldn't of been better .Despite my problems they bent over backwards to make my experience easier and helped me a great deal .I would strongly recommend them to anyone who is thinking of opening a new account. Reviewed on: 28th March 2023

I miss barclays

I used to bank with Barclays for years until I recently switched to First Direct due to their current switching programme. I miss Barclays and will be coming back for sure some point in the future Reviewed on: 25th March 2023

Bad in every respect

Business account, they got rid of personal bankers, who organized things for you. We now have a phone line that is never answered by staff who don’t have a clue about my business Mortgage, had to repeatedly explain that what they were telling me re my mortgage was wrong. Put in a complaint, the complaints person said I was wrong. The next day I phone to pay off my mortgage and close the account because I was so annoyed, to be told that I was correct and the previous Barclays staff were wrong. I closed my account anyway. The best "High Street" Bank for customer service

Simply put, I've banked with Barclays for over 20 years and had to talk to a Real Human Being on a number of occasions, either in person at a branch, on the phone, or via the app, and have yet to have a bad experience with them at all. I can honestly say most of my friends had bad experiences with other high street banks' customer service, and thankful I'm in the minority Reviewed on: 22nd March 2023
