STILL NO APOLOGY FROM BUCKS BUILDING SOCIETY! Still no apology for trying to pay me c.£40 interest less than I was due.. Very poor customer service. Reviewed on: 20th April 2024

Personal Service

4 generations of our family have been clients of BBS and they have always been helpful and nice people to do business with. May not have the best offers at times but thoroughly trustworthy. Reviewed on: 25th March 2020

Choice of charities

Hope you are all well and coping. Good to see that you continue to support local charities, but having two mental health charities from a choice of three seems to narrow options. Given the current crisis I would have preferred to support local NHS workers but recognise the time restraints on your AGM communications. Best wishes, keep safe, keep strong. Pretty happy but rates could be better and admin a bit retro

Good clear savings products, competitive rates Helpful staff on phone Efficient paperwork on renewal etc Have found it quite hard to get tax certificates in the past, whereas other building societies I save with make these available to download online Reviewed on: 24th March 2020

Good savings product range

Bucks BS offers a good range of savings products and offer good interest rates compared with other societies. Would be helpful to allow online withdrawals from instant access accounts that can be operated via your web site; would especially useful in the current country-wide lockdown. All you can do at the moment is view your balance, so adding a withdrawal facility would be appreciated. Reviewed on: 24th March 2020
