Best for value and Customer service level is top notch!

When lockdown hit I realised I was spending a fortune on insurance even though I wasn't able to go anywhere in my car. I looked at lots of different insurers and came across by Miles. It made sense that as I wasn't driving much that I should aim for an insurance that charged by the mile. It saved me a fortune. I now work from home full time so I decided to renew the insurance in the hope it would continue to save me money. When renewing I got a cheaper price per mile which made me feel valued as a customer. I do drive daily to different places so I can get my shopping, take my toddler out etc but it never works out more a month than your average pay monthly insurances. When we have been on extremely long journeys the miles are capped at £10 a day which means you don't have to worry about travelling to far on the miles. This makes a huge difference when travelling on hidalgo or trips to the zoo. I have had queries regarding different things during my time with bymiles and everytime the customer services have been amazing. They are friendly, polite and will do anything in their power to help. There is an app that you can download to track your miles, this has features on it that mean you can scan your car for any error codes, you can see exactly how much your insurance is at any time during the month and you can even put a destination in to check how much it would cost in miles and fuel before commencing on your journey. The app also includes all of your policy details and your previous bills. It is a very well thought out application is easy to use. I can not recommend this company more! Amazing all round. Best. Insurance. Ever.

This is my first year with ByMiles and it’s such a convenient policy for me. I don’t drive a lot of miles so it saves me money. I also love how easy it is to manage your account via the app, and for anyone worried about installing the mileage tracker, don’t be! It’s a one-step process and really simple. Refreshingly honest savings for a struggling world!

In short.. A company that isn't like the rest.. It feels like they do care about the individual customer, even if only paying a very small fee... My car insurance has dropped a massive £70 per month, ive starting saving for the first time in years . I couldn't be happier, It's how all company's should be!!!! Friendly, efficient and a breath of fresh air.

As someone who struggles in a modern world of apps, online services and faceless companies, I was relieved to find an insurance service that was quick and easy to join, very affordable and most importantly to me, easy to speak to on the phone. I called them on several occasions with various questions when I joined them, and each time I was able to speak to a friendly human within just a couple of minutes. In a fast competitive corporate world where 'Customer Service' is often sacrificed to cut costs, 'By Miles' is not just the exception to the rule, but for a Man like me, in my 50's who struggles with all things technical, their customer service is extremely valued. Please don't ever change your ethos as your company grows, because I am sure this is a contributing factor to your rapid success. Very professional service and straightforward to setup!

When I setup my account the process was simple and fast, the device for my car arrived quickly too. The staff are also very professional and responded to my email with a solution quickly.
