I had several regular saver accounts in the past.

I had several regular saver accounts in the past. The interst rates were good. However they continued to reduce them far faster than the base rate was going down. This in my view was unfair and made them uncompetitive compared with many bank and building society accounts. I have closed most of them down and only have one left with a token deposit in it. Fixed rate ISA

Couldn’t have been easier opening a fixed rate isa online, at the start of the new tax year. Easy to open with clear instructions and an excellent rate for a fixed term of 3 years in the current climate. Reviewed on: 17th April 2025
