Worst experience getting a mortgage

Took months and months to sort out mortgage as none of the advisors seemed to be consistent. Called up to see if they were waiting for any info from us, told no. Then mortgage delayed because they hadn't sent us the correct forms to complete and send back. My advice would be go to a high street lender when you get advisors who know what is going on and are keeping on top of proceedings. Reviewed on: 11th April 2023

First Class Customer Service and Great Rate too!

I bank with First Direct and when looking for my first mortgage last year I did my research. I scoured the internet, got quotes from a broker and spent a lot of time looking around.....only to find that my bank had the best rate, fixed for longer than anyone else and they were great to work with during the entire process. The best rates
