Everything I need

Highly recommended bank

Great account with so many extras well worth the £17. My favourite is the AA cover, travel insurance and money smart option. This account has it all and well worth the money. Halifax as always brings you first class offers, support, advice, top class customer care and all done online or in store. Highly recommended so check it out as you won’t be disappointed. Convenient App

I have been a customer since the mid 80s. Although in recent years I have mainly managed my accounts through the App which I find very good and easy enough to navigate. When I have had to visit a branch, I found it a bright environment friendly staff. However some years ago I applied for a personal loan and I was turned down because I had not been in my new address for more than 6 months, although I had the account with them for 14 years at the address I moved from! Decent account

Online Banking and general customer service is really good. It has become quite expensive, and be aware that the insurance "perks" offer only the lowest possible level of service and cover. AA cover wont get you home, mobile phone cover charges you £100 you a replacement handset of their choosing, etc. etc. So check its suitable for you. Reviewed on: 10th August 2021

Good perks for the price

Good perks of course are only good if you use them. I've banked with Halifax for the majority of my life and generally found their service excellent. I've used a number of their products over the years but in general, have found the ultimate reward account to be a good balance of bang for the buck. Reviewed on: 25th March 2021

Fantastic value if you use the benefits

As long as you avail of the overdraft it’s good value. Over the last few years we have had occasion to use the AA, Travel and Mobile phone insurance. Each time it has been a quick and satisfactory response. I would definitely recommend this product. Reviewed on: 26th December 2020
