Good service and criteria around foreign nationals w...

Good service and criteria around foreign nationals was excellent. Case moved along at a good speed. Only downside was there were many questions asked after the case was submitted, some were relevant but I felt some questions were not necessary. Overall good experience and would definitely use you again for future cases. Reviewed on: 7th November 2024

Efficient, clear and helpful.

In order to clarify a misunderstanding concerning the redemption of my existing mortgage debt, I telephoned and discussed the matter with Ms Jo Tidey who corrected the situation and amended the associated documentation clearly within a short time frame. Long standing customer for a good reason

An H&R customer for 17 years I've had few reasons to contact the Society directly. But on the few occasions I have called them the staff have always been friendly, helpful, honest and professional. Reviewed on: 6th July 2023

Re-mortgage process

All good, apart from very lengthy delays from appointing and paying the approved valuer to undertaking the valuation. A month seemed excessive for the valuer to choose an appointment date, until we realised that the valuer had called in sick on the agreed day in question and didn't then return for a further month. This meant that from receiving an offer in principle in late May, the mortgage funds only became available in early October. Reviewed on: 5th October 2022
