Fairly good value, helpful customer service, however high excess cost.

I have used the Backpacker Gold travel insurance with Insureandgo. I always found the staff really helpful and friendly when dealing with queries. The insurance is comprehensive. The only negative is that the excess is quite high, so if you have a smaller medical issue then the costs don't usually exceed the excess, so you end up paying for smaller costs yourself (which can mount up over time if you have various illnesses/incidents). Annual multi trip to Include Australia.

Trying to find Travel insurance for over 70’s is not good. We are going to Australia for 4 weeks plus 5 days in Hong Kong and the only company who would come up with a reasonable quote for an annual policy were Insure and go. Many of the companies do not cover enough to include Business travel which is very expensive these days. I used them before with our previous trip to Australia 2 years ago. Good value

I got an annual travel insurance policy with them for a great rate which included current health issues. Forgot to mention one of my ailments and phoned them back. Policy was updated immediately. Reviewed on: 24th August 2024

Competitive prices for existing medical conditions

Poor company that look for loopholes

They do not pay claims!

To anyone looking for travel insurance this year I would recommend against @InsureandGoAU as they DO NOT cover cancellation by airline (with a top tier insurance policy) even though their website claims they do Reviewed on: 13th December 2023

Very easy to set up. I have not had to claim though.

Well, I guess you only know how good your insurance is until you've had to claim on it. Then I will find out how quick the phone lines are and how easy it is to make claims etc. However, the setting up of it, and the information surrounding which plan I was most suited to was super clear.
