Relationship mangers are inept and have zero business sense

I've banked with Lloyds for business for a few years now, had terrible experiences of trying to get anything done. Their relationship manager and clients services team cannot complete the most simple of jobs. I do wonder if their Manchester office staff have some kind of drug addiction problem. Nightmare - would give zero

Business been with Lloyds for years. Cannot get face to face meeting to discuss important issues and large sums of money. This is "Not an Option" any more as they have Relationship Teams that are telephone based. Most of local branches have closed and no longer one Manager per branch they float around between branches and you cannot even speak to them direct over the phone. Not a helpful bank account

Poor customer service

Been with Lloyds for about 45 years as a personal account customer and have to say the customer service is getting worse. I went to set up a business bank account with the information they need tucked under my arm. Was told I had to make an appointment to do this or make an application on line. I needed banking facilities( I was not looking to borrow any money) quickly as the supply of business equipment was in the pipeline and payments had to be made. I was informed by the staff in Bulwell Nottingham that they were all far to busy to help me today!! They didn't show an attitude that I though was conducive with helping me. I am now looking to obtain banking facilities from National Westminster Bank who really wanted to help me. I will move all my accounts to Nat West in the coming weeks. Perhaps the branch is understaffed ,having said that, there seemed to be enough people in the bank! Reviewed on: 6th September 2018

The online banking is terrible. Layed out poorly. Called for help and got an ignorant lady on the phone telling me there is nothing we can do without using the online banking. Useless! Ignorant! Reviewed on: 5th September 2018

Dreadful to set up account

Multiple attempts to get the right documents to them. They seem to change to goalposts, telling you they have everything and them changing their mind. They don't tell you this by email, letter or phone and wait for you to call and chase them. Different bank representatives give different information. Awful. Wasted a lot of time. I'm sure everything will be fine once the account is set up, assuming that end point is reached ever. Reviewed on: 22nd August 2018

Lloyds Business Banking

I have banked with Lloyds since I was a child - I am 52 now. 3 years ago I opened an account as I became a sole trader. All good. Last year I opened another account as a Ltd Company... It seems my many years of banking has no bearing on their decisions, not even the fact that on my sole trader account I grossed over £180 000 in one year, this all pails into insignificance when trying to get an overdraft to help with cash flow on my Ltd account. Lloyds 'help' is nothing short of terrible, after all these years of banking with them - I am moving on!!! Reviewed on: 23rd July 2018

Banking OK customer service terrible

Banking services reasonably decent, however their customer service is appalling, long waits for answers to incoming calls and never call back when they say they will, if they actually give you a time. Can't blame the staff, numbers at the bottom have been slashed to pay the top end staff, absolutely ridiculous. Reviewed on: 12th June 2018

Steer Clear

Absolutely terrible. They promise to have the account set up within two weeks. Six weeks later I have an account that I can't access and my card doesn't work. Two different pins have been sent and neither have been able to be unlocked from a Lloyds ATM. My business is being propped up by my personal money and there is no help from LLoyds customer service. I have banked with Lloyds for twenty five years, mortgage, personal account, loans have all been closed or paid off and I'm moving elsewhere. Reviewed on: 8th June 2018
