Closed my account with no reason given

Lloyds Bank closed both my Current account and Business account. No reason given. Demanded that I repay my overdraft within 30 days. It's ridiculous that banks are allowed to do this and give no explanation at all or give you a chance to explain any actions that may have aroused suspicions. Reviewed on: 28th March 2026

Was good, not anymore.

Had a Lloyds business account for over 15 years. Was good for sometime. Now they're just greedy. Monthly fees gone up to £8.50 per month. They charge £12 month for an overdraft whether you use it or not. Reviewed on: 27th March 2026

Outrageous terrible customer service from Lloyds business! I have an account and sent a six figure sum TO AN EXISTING PAYEE in dollars on 18th February. Money didn’t arrive and today customer service is rude and unhelpful is an understatement. I’ve lost all trust in this bank. I have called daily to follow up. Terrible way to run a business. Please everyone be aware that if you have a problem this bank is terrible at resolving it! Reviewed on: 12th March 2026

Opened my business account took them 8 weeks to sort...

Opened my business account took them 8 weeks to sort my account out and send my card . However card reader hasn’t been sent, since September have no access to my ONLINE business account, contacted customer service to help me with it , they promised to send some documents to sign and fill in . It’s has been 3 weeks now, nothing arrived. Still no access to my business account. Customer service very useless , they don’t care about customer, can tell you over the phone what you want to hear then leave you with the problem ! Good banking product for our local community group and for our social enterprise (Community Benefit Society.) Very easy to apply for online. Longish lead time of 6wks min. Sadly a very unethical financial institution though. Reviewed on: 28th February 2025

Intuitive app and good customer service

The Lloyd’s banking app has consistently improved over the years, adding useful features that make banking simple. I have not experienced any problems and in the few instances I have needed help, it has been fast and efficient. Reviewed on: 27th February 2025

There business banking account is shocking compared...

There business banking account is shocking compared to others and they charge £8.50 a month which is most than others , zero interest given , zero tools to use like other banking apps such as tools to manage and put away tax , vat and expenditures. The worst part is they don’t even offer a debit card that is compatible with Apple Pay , meaning some online purchases you can’t make like Facebook ads to expand my buisness as they only take Apple Pay as payment.
