Transparent costs, excellent customer service and superb online banking.

The customer service and support we've received has been great. The internet banking is easy to use and accessible. I'm also impressed with the levels of security - it's secure without being too difficult to access regularly. Banking costs are very transparent as is the cost of borrowing. Downside was the period of time taken to open the account - it took in excess of 2 months to get to account operational due to backload. Reviewed on: 13th January 2016

Very bad customer's accounts management

I was a loyal Lloyds customer for almost 10 years! We have ours ups and downs with Lloyds but both sides have always been ready to solve the problems without unnecessary distress. All for nothing when Lloyds (14 days ago) decided to close our business account giving us : N O T H I N G ! - no written notice about account closure - no letter informing about account closure - no letter explaining why the closing (this one is in their T&C so I don't really complain about it) - no cheque with our account balance - SIMPLE - LLOYDS STOLE OUR MONEY (we got last statements as a proof) - no contact with Lloyds review team - simple answer "I'm sorry. Nothing we can do about it"! Lloyds in few simple steps send our company into bankruptcy - we have no access to our funds, unpaid invoices, customer can't pay us (our account simply vanished!) and there is nobody who willing to help us :( if you run micro business PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM LLOYDS! Since I've had my business we've gone through a good few 'relationship managers'. Some were, well too overstretched to do the job justice, but got the feeling they tried their best. This will probably embarrass her but Charlotte can't do too much for us! Reviewed on: 2nd October 2015

I've had our SME banking with Lloyds since we launched in 2009. On the whole, the service is ok - but it can be lacking quality interaction which is important when something complicated / issues crop up. Reviewed on: 3rd June 2015

They can be quite helpful so long as you don't let yourself be talked into anything you don't want. The last time I went the advisor pointed out that a unit trust I was paying into was performing really badly and suggested I should cash it in or transfer to something else (even though it was one of their own products). If you feel you could do with a bit of a financial shake up go ahead and listen to what they have got to say, but I would advise you to then go home and consider everything before signing on any dotted lines. not convenient for my 24hour digital marketing company

No dedicated business telephone number over the weekend. There was fraud activity and I couldnt speak to anyone. Also took me far too long to access internet banking due to bad system errors. Reviewed on: 10th February 2015

I'm looking for a new bank.

I was assured my business account would be switched in 10 days. 7 weeks later lloyds are still calling me to ask about share allocation. Reviewed on: 21st December 2014

Lloyds are helpful and have gone out of their way to help with foreign currency bank accounts and preferrential rates recently.
