Really good building society

Excellent bank account

I have never had any problems with Nationwide. It is so easy to do everything I need to do with their bank account and I love the spare change facility which rounds up recent transactions and puts the spare change into your savings account. Would highly recommend. Reviewed on: 10th March 2023

Trustworthy, available, honest.

I've been with Nationwide for 20 years now and they have never put a foot wrong. I have multiple accounts with them - ISA Help to Buy, FlexAccount, FlexDirect, 1yr Triple Access Savings, contents insurance, and a savings account for my child - and have only ever had a very positive experience. They never mess me around, deceive, or make it difficult to get help. They paid out my insurance claim immediately and without question. And MOST importantly they don't invest any of my money in fossil fuels, they use 100% renewable electricity, and they don’t send any waste to landfill. They are truly an ethical option unlike several other major high street banks who are propping up the destruction of the planet and children's futures.
