If you’re eligible for an overdraft, the first £50 is interest free. The FlexDirect account has to be managed online or over the phone, not at the branch.

Make roughly £100 per annun on keeping balance of £2000 on flexdirect account in period of two years with Nationwide. Straighforward online register, proof of identity in your nearest branch and you are good to go. Reviewed on: 30th April 2017

Fantastic building society

Friendly and helpful staff

I think the Flex direct scores on its 5% interest for the first year. It is also possible to open a linked regular saver and add £500 a month for a year for a further 5% interest. Reviewed on: 1st March 2017
