Don't bother if wanting the travel insurance

Tried to claim on the travel insurance for cost of alternative travel due to a cancelled flight back to the UK... Only to be told that the policy only covers delay benefit and that they do not cover for a flight that has been cancelled! The delay benefit is only £10 after 2 hours and then "10 every 4 hours after that! and to claim this you must be at the airport and checked in. What is the point of the travel insurance if you can not even claim on it for the things you need. Will definately be moving to a more comprehensive account for a similar price. Excellent product, offering great extras

Excellent product, offering phone insurance. travel insurance and AA breakdown cover for just £13 a month. Whats more is for the past 2 years Nationwide have given their customers £100 so this account even better! My whole family have an account. Reviewed on: 22nd July 2024

Used travel insurance along with AA breakdown cover. Both times the service is excellent. Saved a bundle on just having the account, good if you use them bad if you don't. Really happy with the services provided. Reviewed on: 8th July 2024

They care about their customers

Their flexplus package provides a lot. But also their recent fairshare payment has been so welcome. Giving £100 to many members just because they can. compare this to other companies that give all profits to directors and high end staff. Incomparable. Reviewed on: 28th May 2024

Nationwide-there for its members

The banking app is very inituitive. the £100 Loyalty payment they make to members is grea Building soc behaviour. I recommended my daughter switch from metro to them which she did-there were unfortunate admin issues, but they came good and compensated her. My other daughter has a flex account and now has a mortgage arranged with nationwide last year which went very well. i like that they still have branches open, but they have restricted some of the opening in more rural branches which i don't like Reviewed on: 28th May 2024

Would recommend Nationwide to anyone

Nationwide is a great company providing excellent value for money. Their customer service centre's are UK based. They pay their members share of the company's profits every year. In addition they advise members of the best savings / investment rates. Also they have low interest rate loans for members. Reviewed on: 24th May 2024
