Review of the NatWest Group - Cora, Digital Assistant:

Easy to deal with and get sense out of

Went on-line to answer a simple query and it was answered quickly efficiently and made me feel welcomed Reviewed on: 20th March 2021

I didn't survive the doom loop.

2
I was contacted to close an inactive business account. It is with another branch of NatWest with a separate sort code. I tried using Cora on 3 occasions to close the account and transfer the balance to my current account and on each occasion it sent me into a doom loop. I am no further on and have wasted a couple of hours on a poorly performing AI system. I am seriously considering moving my active personal account from this shambolic organisation, but I can't bear the hassle.. Reviewed on: 9th March 2025

Ridiculous System

1
A simpe task to order a cheque book to pay the milkman was a mamoth task with stupid circular questions. A simple 'order checkbook' button after login would do the job instantly! Reviewed on: 24th February 2025

Cora is Artificial Stupidity

I need answers about repaying a Bounce Back Loan. Cora is useless. Reviewed on: 24th February 2025

Cora has gone downhill since new AI

1
I have been with Natwest for our company for 13 years. Cora was always amazing and if couldn't answer then you got a real person quickly. In more recent times it has changed - set questions what do not apply and then when you eventually get to be put through to a person noone responds and I waste ages. Reviewed on: 17th December 2024

Stick to calling, far better.

1
I've attempted to use Cora each time I have a problem, it simply doesn't understand plain questions. E. G. How much will it cost to pay off my mortgage in full. Reviewed on: 22nd November 2024

waste of time, rubbish.

1
waste of time, rubbish. Cora and these kind of bots are no good for anything. Customer support should be a person with real knowledge or actual ability to find out about your questions and queries on their service. Reviewed on: 14th November 2024

Waste of time.

1
Waste of time. Keeps crashing. The worst generative AI , I have ever seen. Don't link back to historical chat issues ir anything. Badly trained by a person never dealt with bank ir transactions is my conclusion. .. Reviewed on: 22nd October 2024

The Cora system is poor in every respect .

The Cora system is poor in every respect . Nat west clearly don’t value their customers inflicting this faceless , useless and cumbersome system on customers Reviewed on: 5th October 2024

Cora terrible for the Nat West brand

1
I have little to add to the negative reviews of Cora, it is beyond useless. It connot understand, let alone answer, simple queries like "Where is the manage my card option in the Nat West app". Surely, when poor technology like this frustrates customers it can only be a matter of time before Nat West implements genuinely useful AI based on an existing knowledge base. Needless to say, Nat West needs to continue to invest in customer service humans at a decent level. Reviewed on: 30th August 2024

It's not actually a digital assistant.

1
It's not actually a digital assistant. It can answer very specific questions and that's it. It's basically a search function for common questions misrepresented as a chat bot. It adds little to no value to the customer experience. I would Google any questions before using it and then find a way to speak to a human from there. Needs massive improvements.
