Destroyed my Business and Family, Ethical Banking????????

After having a flawless account with Natwest since the Early 1970's, our small family run Business was having difficult times. Nattiest did not want to know, transferred debt owed on a Natwest Business Card over to the business account without warning putting the account into several thousands of pounds of unaranged borrowing as that was the only account with a guarantor , effectively putting my business into Limbo. Majority of creditors then withdrew credit facilities from the business. To cut a long story short, stress from collapse of Business has put both my parents into 24hr care, Business is now finished. So far Natwest still refusing to admit anything was done wrong, and offered a bottle of champagne and a £50 voucher. Its clear Natwest have learned nothing from the last 10 years. Business banking gets harder

as a small business we need convenience and speed when paying in or discussing business, which was great when the local branch was open but, as everywhere we lost that and have to go into the town centre so pay to park or circle the town whilst one of us goes into the branch. The staff are lovely and helpful but we only have 2 positions to pay cash in at, so there is always a queue !! I know they want to move everyone onto online banking to save costs, but some businesses just don't work that way, so it does make it harder for them. Reviewed on: 8th November 2018
