On the rare occasions I've had to use their live chat for a query, I've been startled by how quickly they understood the issue and had a clear, immediate answer or solution. Even on techy website problems or small print stuff on ISA terms. What a contrast with TSB whose own switch team (non-native speaker) were wrong on TSB's own switch terms, and helpline who don't know what Limit Alerts are. In branch very friendly, app is good, . Only downside is the stupid A5 size statements on multiple sheets. A nightmare to find things. Reviewed on: 2nd January 2016

I've been with Natwest for almost a decade and overall they have been pretty good to me. They've been communicative and helpful when I've needed them. They've even caught fraudulent activity while it was happening. I like their marketing an branding too - they've grown it quite well. Internet banking is fantastic and easy to use. Perfect for me!

Seems straightforward when applying online however some discrepnacies with what is required in branch and via received paperwork

I opened the Select account online which seemed straightforward and easy to open however after attending the branch for submitting some identification papaers I was not made to ease by asking so many questions including my rental agreement and deed poll change! Surely, British passport would be enough for all. Reviewed on: 24th December 2015

I recently had to change my home address and thought I'd need all sort of bills etc but I was able to do it all online with no problems at all. I had to enter a lot of security details but was able to confirm everything in much less than five minutes! My monthly statement arrived at the new address a few weeks afterwards too so clearly all went well! Reviewed on: 24th December 2015

Very easy to use- recommended!

This is the easiest account I have used! It is accessible on-line, which makes it even easier to keep an eye on your balance. My only complaint is that your balance may be a little hard to understand as there are 2 columns, one for total balance/ available balance, which makes overspending a real threat. However, any queries are very easy to solve as Natwest has an online live chat function! Reviewed on: 24th December 2015

The account suits my needs at present and I personally find it easy to bank with Natwest. THe account was easy to open and didn't take a lot of time. The mobile app is very good for keeping track of my finances and is easy to use. Whenever I call into my local branch the staff are always helpful. Reviewed on: 24th December 2015

After a difficult year, I had to change my account to suit my needs. I visited my local branch of Natwest and was greeted with a friendly face and a sympathetic ear! Nothing was too much trouble and my account was altered accordingly-a great service-as always! Reviewed on: 18th December 2015
