You have to fight for years to get a proper payout from them after 50 years of being a loyal customer. Dreadful company with even worse loss adjusters It’s a long fight to get a proper payout . Dreadful company with even worse loss adjusters. Reviewed on: 22nd August 2023

Tried to speak but RUDE person on line "like a long playing record"

Have just 'phoned re increase of 26% on last years premium, the person I spoke to appeared to read a script without taking a breath, when I spoke she continued to speak over me, this is what NFU state as personal service there to help!!! Inflation at 9% yet premium increased by 26% In sixty years I have never had a home insurance claim. Anyone reading this any suggestions for another company? Reviewed on: 4th August 2022

NFU is easy to contact through a local office and can handle claims over the phone very quickly. The staff are very knowledgeable about their products.And when contacting them nothing is too much trouble. What’s more important is they are always friendly and polite. Reviewed on: 7th September 2024

I have been with them for my home insurance for a few years now. Only made one claim and it was not straight forward but no fuss from them. A video chat with their assessor and all was sorted. Have recently moved house and notified them they changed everything over quickly, sent my new documents. Very professional and efficient. Everyone one has been pleasant to deal with too, real people. We are very pleased with the service from NFU mutual as the actually take the time to understand you as a customer. They can be less competitive but they insure you properly and don't make claiming a difficulty. Reviewed on: 25th August 2024
