DONT BANK ON THE BIG ONE

You dont go in the draw immediately - you have to hold for a full calendar month which is disappointing. So far I have has a few small wins of £25 each and I live in hope of something bigger. Have the security though that my money is safe Reviewed on: 28th March 2016

Used to be a dead cert for somewhere to keep money safe when savings interest rates were next to %zero. Now savings rates are returning a sum of sorts it's worth thinking if gambling £50 a month guaranteed loss of interest is worth it versus potential winnings. Reviewed on: 27th February 2025

81yr old Mother ripped off by NS&I

My 81 year old Mother tried to buy some premium bonds for her great-grandson for Christmas. Muddled through trying to order them online, sent a cheque and then heard absolutely nothing from NS&I. Many hours on the phone later, after speaking to someone in a call centre in India, my Mother was told that she hadn't sent a birth certificate or passport details, so they couldn't progress the purchase. Premium bonds are an exciting saving account
