Premium Bonds are the one everyone knows when it comes to NS&I, with a limit of £50,000 and no guaranteed return they might not be for everyone but your money is 100% safe from financial collapse of institutions and the winnings are 100% tax free so if you're likely to pay tax on interest then Premium Bonds may be for you. Never won

I am nearly 55 x years old and have never won and neither has my sister. These were bought when we were born. Although I agree it is a small amount, it was however a gift amount back in the day. Very disappointed to say the least. The login system is difficult to navigate and I have made 2 x phone calls now to try and sort, there is a further mail shot coming out to me shortly. Not sure I will bother, seems pointless. Reviewed on: 4th October 2023
