Do not get a pockit account

Pockit have blocked access to my account & funds!!!

I have had a pockit account since the company started operating. I rarely use the account and only do so in rare circumstances. I however stupidly decided to open an additional card on my account for my brother who is abroad and is disabled so I could help him out during this lockdown. The horrible people at pockit then decided to lock my account with over £1,300 pounds in it and the account has been locked down for almost two months now and despite calling them very few days and sending emails every few days for the last 7 weeks no one picks up the phone or replies to my emails!! Meanwhile they are using my money for their own purposes and cash flow meanwhile I and my family are suffering without access to our funds which are desperately needed at this time! It is disgusting what they are doing to customers and I have already complained to the financial ombudsman service about the company yet nothing happens! I am also concerned by the fact that your funds are not protected by the financial services compensation scheme which means that if they go bust during this crisis then all customers will loose their money! If you have any money with these guys I would suggest you move it out and if you are considering opening a pockit account I would suggest you DO NOT do so!! Awful and heartless company!! They Robbed you

they will steal your money

i thought pockit was safe but it turns out there not ,after receiving some money from a bike crash I thought I would treat my and my wife to some new things by putting money onto the card o.k more than I normally would and then they freeze my account and take £600.and then send a email a later asking for photo id driving licence and so on ,I don't drive and don't have a passport so what am I supposed to do ...feels like they have looked for a opportunity to take money,emails are pointless and don't get me going about the phone lines ,if you don't want me to be one of your customers please send me a cheque for the money you have taken ,there are plenty other prepaid cards out there ..ive already taken some advice and will be dealing accordingly it says you can have up to £5000 a month but if you do they will stop your card and hold your money they contact you by email then ignore you ,Talking to you Carlos...for god sake people if they have done this to you open a case on Resolver.co.uk I know of a few hundred people who already have ,if we all work together we can get these people closed down ,and maybe a few in jail Reviewed on: 19th May 2020

DISGUSTING

Money went in bank same day blocked they wanted to know were my money came from wages from work set in all my documents payslips heard nothing since they a disgrace. I broke my shoulder so went on sick was getting housing benefit from dwp even they rang them still nothing if u.want a bank account STAY WELL WELL WELL CLEAR OF THIS LOT . Scammers and fraudsters they have been reported to action fraud I was told to make an official complaint which they have 15 days now I'm counting the days down it's now 10 then the FINACIAL ombudsman steps in and sorts it out . So if anyone has had problems are currently having problem get in touch with the FINACIAL ombudsman he tell what to do. To make it even worse my boyfriend was away and left hes phone at home by mistake as he works away that day wen igot my account frozen and had no money I couldn't access hes house I couldn't get in I was left on the streets inthe pouring rain no money no food the police kindly took me to the SALVATION ARMY for the night not that pockit were bothered they couldnt care less fake reviews the only real reviews are the genuine people on here the rest are made up if u a victim pls contact me at [email protected] and Il help and guide u what to do CLOSE THIS COMPANY DOWN Reviewed on: 29th March 2020

Blocked account

MOST WORTH POCKIT CARD AND SERVICE IN UK Hi To be honest this pockit CARD most worth service or company in my last 40 year banking experience in uk Very bad and most Rude Customer service Over the year I safe my child pocket money to spend on Christmas holidays try use it thay blocked When I call thay failed me in Security and during the calling thay freez app ,cant have Excess to explain Denied to speak and put down phone Receiver, LIKE SOME ONE Slap on your face 11/12 emails honestly no reply Provide I'd, proof of address and Selfie waith holding I'd Thay are no helpful and completely Rude Offer them to come they office waith my passport, driving license, proof of address THAY refused Thay answered just Rude Keeps chasing 2 months so far until now What a Surprise owen money transferred from owen my Debit card Can't use Children very disappointed because thay pocket money of Christmas saving over 12 months Before you take this card think towie ,THAY ARE NOT REALLY ABLE GOING TO CANCEL MY CARD AND AS WELL ALL THOSE IN MY FAMILY I RECOMMEND Thanks Reviewed on: 18th January 2020

Not a great online bank I must say. Lots of outtages Lots of little annoying fees A monthly fee! And your an improvement on high street banks how exactly??? My advice to anyone thinking of using pockit is to keep the balance low. As just like Monzo they tend to freeze accounts for no reason. Reviewed on: 5th January 2020
