Dont trust all these 5* reviews, just look on twitter and you will see how many other customers they have done this too. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Reviewed on: 12th August 2020

Its not all bad!

I use this card for work. I have had one issue and was able to talk to a real person who spoke English and was very helpful. When it was frozen recently due to the suspected fraud at the parent company I was kept informed and it was back up and running in a couple of days. Reviewed on: 7th July 2020

I ain't jumping ship

I have read some of these review's Pockit is part of wirecard U.K. it's wirecard solution's Germany that is a sister company that is has filed for bankruptcy. Pockit is a u.k. which office was in w1 before moving which employees local people. I have been with pocket for three years now I do empathise with people who reply on pockit but to be fare this will help long term for all customer's . When you call pockit you get to speak to staff in the uk not a call center in dehi if they say they will call you back they do. I had my account frozen as of my sending activity as I like to shop but after emailing them document's required my account was back to normal by the next day. Sure I was pissed but it was protecting my money in the long run. I was paid last Friday end of the month all my money right now other then credit cards is in pockit but I know but thrusday or Friday my account will be up and running and my money in my account and now it will be safer then ever. So any one who was paid last week hold out a few days as pockit is still a growing business and if u leave now down to something thats out of there control is a little unfair. So I look forward to see pockit up and running soon using a uk network. And I wish to thank all the team at pockit for smooth banking the last few years and many more to come . So thank you for all the work and time your putting in to have our accounts up and running once more Reviewed on: 30th June 2020

Pockit is most certainly the worst, prepaid card I have ever had, firstly no cu service whatsoever. Last year went abroad, notified them arrived on holiday, day 1 card is blocked, this has now happened on many occasions, and there is no communication from anyone in the company. And again we have had our accounts blocked and no access to our funds, seriously, disgusting service and DON'T TOUCH POCKIT DON'T TOUCH POCKIT Reviewed on: 28th June 2020

Pockit Parent company Wirecard AG files for insolvency after Euro 1.9 billion goes missing!!

1
Pockit parent company files for bankruptcy As I suspected and have been writing here for weeks - Pockit's parent company Wirecard AG which wholly owns Wirecard Card Solutions Ltd UK which runs Pockit has filled for bankruptcy after over €1.9 billion of funds goes missing!! This was just announced on the news a few minutes ago!! This is no doubt why they have blocked my account over two months ago and have not let me access my account and have in short stolen over £1,300 from me which I have in the account which I and my family have desperately needed during these horrible last few months!! If your account is still active move your money out now if you still can and please do not open an account with this company or loose your money!!! You have been warned. Have a look at Wikipedia and news links for more info. Reviewed on: 25th June 2020

Pockit's actions goes from bad to terrible!! Avoid Pockit

1
I wrote a terrible review about this horrible company that has decided to block my account with over £1,300 pounds in my account a few weeks ago. I wish I could say that I am writing again to recant my previews review but sadly this is not the case. Things have only gotten worse and now more than two months after my account was blocked by Pockit - despite me having provided all the requested information supposedly required to un-block the account still nothing has happened. In facts things are worse now because Pockit actively hang up on any calls you try to make to their call center despite doing so within their new reduced calling/opening times!! So in essence they are refusing to speak to any of their customers! To make matters worse they also do not respond to emails and despite numerous request for a copy of their formal complaints handling procedure which they are required by law to provide along with a 'final letter' before one can formally complain to the Financial Ombudsman Service they are refusing to act and instead are trying to draw out the process and block customers ability to lodged formal complaints to the Financial Ombudsman Service by cleverly sending out 'one-liner' emails every few weeks in order to pretend to have a semblance of ongoing communications with their customers (me!) in the hope that when the financial regulator does take up the case they would be able to hide behind such useless and irrelevant correspondence to claim that they were trying to action customer complaints! This is highly unethical and irregular behavior and I would go as far as saying it is questionably illegal to. I stand convinced that Pockit is likely having financial problems and is seeking to utilize customer's funds to prop-up their ailing business and as I pointed out in my last review funds held in Pockit accounts are not covered by The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) which means that if Pockit goes under/bankrupt customers such as myself will loose all our monies held with the company. I am now also seeking avenues to take legal action against Pockit for damages caused as a result of their actions. I re-iterate: "if you have any funds held with Pockit then you should move them out to a safe, secure and reliable bank/financial service or simply withdraw the cash and if you are considering opening a Pockit account - DO NOT DO SO!!!
