Total waste of time ...

Opened a travel money card and could not get the app to work returned to the agents who said they would return any cash not used. What they didn't say was there would be a charge of 7% to return it. Total waste of time leaving me out of pocket Reviewed on: 9th September 2025

Extra money came out of acciunt

Bought sum euros which seemed to be good price then discovered on my banking app they tiok out another £15 i weng on chat to try find out wat it was for as i bought over £500 worth of euros and was fee delivery...was told it wud b looked into..yep still not heard anything..1st and last time i will b buying foreign currency off them Reviewed on: 19th August 2025

Put £1100 English to euro on card.

Put £1100 English to euro on card. Arrived in Spain on holiday, tried to use the card in 3 different premises only to be declined payment. My account says there is money on card. Have spoke with CS 3 times now, and they keep advising me card is active but account has been blocked by tui for some reason. So now stuck in spain with no money. Nice one guys very appreciative. DO NOT BOTHER WITH PRE PAID CURRENCY CARD.

This review is ONLY FOR THE PRE PAID CURRENCY CARD. Do not take it, use Revolut or any other. The app is dire . This made it impossible to activate my card which had £1k on it Reviewed on: 6th April 2025

Inactivitycharge cost me £100

I have a Tui travel money card that I hadn't used because I hadn't been on holiday. It had £100 on it. Because of inactivity Tui took £2 per month from my card until there was absolutely nothing left. Because of covid I got £40 back. I was livid. How could they take money like that. But they say its in the terms and conditions. I was not informed of any terms and conditions. They are a greedy, thoughtless company to behave in such a way. Reviewed on: 26th October 2024

Absolute rip-off merchants.

Avoid Tui for travel money and currency cards as they offer the worst exchange rates.I have purchased my annual family holiday from Tui for the past twenty years, but never again, so I hope it was worth it to Tui in ripping me off with the worst currency exchange rates available. Trying to register card online

Keeps saying Details of card not found... Rang to complaints line told me had to wait 15 days for them to contact them .. I'm home in 5 days from holiday.. Can't get to my money... Absolutely f#$king fuming...... Reviewed on: 18th August 2023
