SCAM never use them! upset and financial loss!!!

I paid a large amount of cash to this company 8 days ago for foreign currency. I thought I'd done my due diligence to ensure they were professional and experienced. THEY ARE NOT!!! They haven't refunded our MONEY. You can't speak to anyone. Total scam. Caused huge distress and lost a vast sum I worked extremely hard for !! How dare they treat people this way!!! Extremely Disappointing Experience - Lost My Money

This was my first time ordering from The Currency Club, and it has been a complete disaster. Despite the tracking information clearly showing that my delivery was not received, I was told to wait for up to 25 days due to their terms and conditions. In the meantime, I'm left out of pocket and now forced to source currency from elsewhere. They’ve failed to deliver on both the product and customer service. I won’t be using their services again. Disgrace of a business.

Disgrace of a business. Shocking customer care. Failed to deliver my Euros next day. Contact number on website is all pre-recorded drivel pushing you to email them. I still haven’t had a response to my escalation email as instructed by the pre-record guidance. Only email I’ve had from this sham of a business is a thank you for choosing them and a request to leave a review. Painful experience - zero empathy from the gentleman I did speak to eventually. Poor service - be prepared to wait a long time for money/refunds

Order number - O1AK39777953840 Reasonable exchange rates, however there are multiple issues I encountered with this company: 1. Their delivery times are at the mercy of Royal mail so plan well in advance 2. I made an order in May, I called them a few days later when the currency was missed which they accepted as they could see it was never received on their end. They said wait for a refund. The process of receiving a refund has taken 7 MONTHS! I only received the money today. During this period I called and emailed them to be told to be patient as it would take time. 3. On calling them to ask for the refund they sent me an email saying a refund would take place, not realising that has been the situation for the past 7 months! I would be careful of giving this company your business unless you don't mind being out of pocket for a long time. Reviewed on: 22nd December 2023

AVOID SCAMMERS

Used a number of times. Purchased money for my summer holiday and then more for my next break which was a last minute deal to Bulgaria. Paid and requested 2 days time as was off in 3 days. The following day got a email from compliance asking why I wanted funds. Stated it was a holiday and send all travel documents showing flight and hotel info from last minute.con the next day ( 1 day before I left ) another asking for passport and bank details to show proof as well as payslips. This was too late as wouldn’t get money in time. So they charged me £20 to refund. Why they didn’t send the request sooner as they could see when I was going. Scammers! Probably didn’t have any or enough Bulgarian lev. AVOID THESE SCAMMERS Reviewed on: 31st August 2023

It is crap

Ordered wed, guaranteed next day 1pm.checked royal mail tracking guaranteed 4pm.it is now saterday,still no thai bhat. Reviewed on: 25th February 2023

Awful

COMPLETELY AWFUL! I placed an order to exchange currency and recieved a notification that I would receive it by post (which I paid for) by 1pm the following day. The money was taken from my account straight away. Having waited all of the following day I did not recieve my order. I emailed the Currency Club with no response back. I eventually received my order having sent three separate emails four days later. I called the Currency Club and despite having recieved a notification that the order would arrive the following day and money being taken out of my bank account on the day of my order I was simply told that it was a glitch. I have submitted a complaint and was told I would be contacted back with 14 days, yet three weeks on no one from the Currency Club has bothered to investigate and respond to my complaint. I do not recommend The Currency Club, and will never be useing them again. Do not use if you want a quick and reliable service. Reviewed on: 27th October 2021

Paid for guaranteed signed before 1pm next day. Late, no signature, found 2.5k in an outside letterbox . Wrote 3 emails - no reply. Called 3 times to chase up when it didn't arrive, then to ask for a refund the extra I paid for the above service. No refund - somehow it's my responsibility to pursue their carrier, the Post, when their paid for guarantees don't happen. Massive inconvenience as I missed booking a ferry due to late arrival.
