pension payment

1
The DWP puts my pension into my pockit account on Monday and I have to spend countless emails and phone call to pockit cause it doesn't show in my balance they just cut you off every time then suddenly days later it appears like magic Reviewed on: 14th June 2016

Getting my pension loaded to my card

1
Every week they loose my pension from DWP and I have to e mail them ,waste of time then I phone them and eventually get someone who can speak English they cut you off after two to three days later it suddenly appears i. My account less than what it should be rubbish company Reviewed on: 7th June 2016

Appalling company. Avoid.

1
What an appalling company. Within a month of opening the account, I sent a deposit for nearly £300 which they lost, made me send tonnes of proof that I sent it including bank statement, and then after 2 weeks just credited it to my account without any correspondence or apology. I then asked for my account to be closed as I was so annoyed. I was told to do this in writing via email, so I did. After a month I had heard nothing back, once again, so I emailed again, after 2 weeks received the refund of the small balance in my account and an email just saying it was done. No acknowledgement of my complaint or apology. Dire customer services. Awful to make contact with, and can't even keep hold of your money. Avoid. Reviewed on: 12th May 2016

Easy enough, but they need contactless cards!

Took out a Pockit prepaid card solely to claim their free fiver when singing up. It took 99p + less than five minutes to get an account set up and they had the card out to me in the post in three working days. Once received, I topped up with a tenner and my card was accepted in a small independent retailer five minutes later, so, it does what it says on the tin! My £5 signup bonus came within a week although I'm disappointed that it isn't a contactless card, bit old school. Reviewed on: 7th April 2016

Rubbish Service

1
Loaded money onto my card, but balance is less with no explanation. No response to email and no answer on phone after holding on for 20 minutes. AVOID THIS COMPANY Reviewed on: 14th March 2016

No hidden charges; Pockit does what it promises

I found an offer of free £5 credit to sign up online. I needed some kind of credit card/emergency reserve so it seemed like a good idea. I am so glad I did sign up for it. Nowhere has refused it and the website is easy to navigate. Topping up is quick and easy too. I could do it via pay point (although that would incur a fee) but it's free to do online. There's no minimum or maximum amount per month and no fees. and I've never had to query my account. I can only spend what I have; I can't overdraw (which is good). I even get cashback at some of my favourite stores, including M&S. I've had this card for nearly a year now and I use it far more than I expected to; it feels like a trusted friend Reviewed on: 7th February 2016

What a Croc!

1
what company, embarrasses you by declining a transaction while requesting for proof of address and ID 12 MONTHS after you have been using them??? Customer services asked for a ridiculous amount of security then told me they would not discuss it I had to wait up to 48 hours for an email. all staff sound foreign and obviously do not give a crap about service. Fuming, humiliated and now an ex customer!!!! and they still owe me £70+ Reviewed on: 29th January 2016

Plain bad

What a surprise to see other Pockit reviews like these...not! They have been shocking from start to finish - and I have finished with them now. My card is probably at the bottom of some landfill right now where it belongs. Impossible to get hold of them on the phone, and if by chance you happen to get through to them the customer service is bad beyond belief. Reviewed on: 27th October 2015

Please avoid

Words can't really explain how inept these guys are. Just don't try to call them - not worth trying. Reviewed on: 1st October 2015
